oh yeah? and whats happening in the alliance thats really shaken it up? Magni turns to stone, Varian proves his noble phase with Saurfang was bullcrap, and ... what? Malfurion returns?
Apart from the Magni fans, no alliance fans are losing something so major in there story.

They lose it before WoW and they lose Bolvar in WoTLK. Now is time for Horde.
The story evolves, moo. Sometimes you like it, sometimes you don't.
Don't put all at heart, high stress can affect it.

Never said what was happening to the Horde was an Up point; saying, after the complete disinterest I felt at the end of Wrath, proves that to me, Cata is going to be the expansion to shake up the entire Warcraft franchise, and get it out of the rut Wrath created.
For some people.
For others, it's business as usual (I'M LOOKING AT YOU, VELEN).
He has some quests, not as much as I want, but I'll take what I can get.

No problem.
They also have an article about Doomhammer (the weapon) in the new
WoW Magazine
.
Doomhammer is made of stone. I never knew that.

And over yonder in the pretty boy side, I have a case of "Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it."
Still, at least he has some voices now, and a one-hander version of the
Greatsword of the Sin'Dorei
.
Heh, indeed; now, if we can just slaughter Sylvanas, I will be happy for the expansion lol.

I'm hoping for a replacement....just one that I don't hate as much as I hate Sylvanas heh.

The orcs now have a leader almost on par with sylvanas. Both sylvanas and garrosh bring the worst qualities of there assorted races to the surface.

Sylvanas always had the worst qualities of her race; there are no real in game hero forsaken...at least, as not part of the faction itself.

actually dude, the only thing he linked is the cover of the newest issue of the World of Warcraft magazine.
it's just a preview (a rather GOOD preview) with many cool articles like the story of the doomhammer (the weapon, not the orc) and other equally intresting bits.
this particular edition is intresting because in the cover they have garrosh, and in the oposite side of the magazine, there's an EPIC picture of Thrall.
I actually linked both a while back as a comparison.
him
and
him
open both, and make the comparison.
now, the first image is of Thrall, second one is of garrosh, and while the garrosh picture is really well done (as in, the drawing is REALLY well desinged, as it portrays garrosh as a ruthless scary guy, while portraying Thrall as a strong, and noble one) I actually think
this
is a more accurate portrayal of Garrosh.
at least that's how I see him, and that's how you (taurenmoo) see him, and that's how many of his haters see him.
(really tauren, click all 3 images and compare :P they are REALLY well done, I even have Thrall's image as the wallpaper on my cellphone)

Thanks rank. although I already got that image of Thrall and saw the garrosh one. and yeah, the other one of garrosh seems more apt.
Its just after skrees account on the thread he made, I'm just.. dunno, kinda numb about it really. Its like, that is how garrosh is, but blizzard intend to make him into a doomhammer type leader, so they don't have to replace him at the end of cata? I can honestly see them doing this now, as skree said, it seems any hope I had of Thrall returning is pretty much nout.

Oh you think your clever Adams aye? Hows about this.
In a recent review of the shattering, we know that in an act of honor, Cairne fights Garrosh for control of the horde, disgusted by Garrosh's actions, and it was believed Cairne died due to the poison out of combat.
But what actully happened, was in that fight, Garrosh does slice the gorehowl into cairne chest. Even if the poison did or didn't kill him at that moment, Garrosh delivered the blow.
You know, one of my guild mates is probably one of the biggest cairne fans I can think of. He actully logged off wow when people were making a joke about cairne dying, it upset him so much. Seeing that it was Garrosh that gave the final blow now, I'll never have anything but contempt for the character, that blizzard choose to develop a hidiously rendered character like garrosh in favour of a long standing one like cairne is a joke.
so garrosh purposely killed cairne :O
Cairne wanted to duel garrosh for the honorable intention of not letting him drag the hordes name be dragged down into the dirt as warmongering savages. It was a duel to the death, but to anyone who claimed it was the poison that outright killed cairne, there wrong, it was Garrosh who killed him with a strike to the chest.

Getry and Anselm. Although Anselm is definitely arguable.
Thing is, do you REALLY want a Forsaken leader who's backstory is worse than Bolvar post-WotLK?
True true.... I just dislike Sylvanas and most of the Forsaken anyways though. I know they aren't all evil and violent and insane....just a large section of them lol.

and then his son baine forgives him in the book according to skreen : /.
i would like to see blizz make garrosh good over the coarse of cata, but itd be bad writing to go along with his current screwy persona...Why not forgive him? Garrosh didn't know about the poison. Cairne challenged Garrosh to a duel, and Garrosh accepted, believing it to be a fair fight.
As far as the poison goes, Baine knows that Garrosh didn't want that. And as far as the duel goes, Cairne was the one who challenged him, and Baine knows that that was his choice to make.

meh, I don't like garrosh, but I don't have a bias against him unlike some people, thus I DON'T hold it against him that he accidentally killed cairne for several reasons.
1: it was Cairne who challenged Garrosh, not the other way arround, Cairne knew what he was getting into, and that it would end in blood no matter what. Since it was Cairne who made the first move, we can't really pin this on Garrosh, after all the only thing he could do was either refuse the duel and be branded a coward (and have to give up the mantle of warchief and live in shame, something that NO ORC would ever do, the honor of the orcs compells them to NEVER show cowardice) or let himself be killed by cairne, something that isn't very nice either.
2: it was the medling of the grimtotems wich caused Cairne to be defeated, otherwise Cairne (despite being over 95 years old) could had kicked Garrosh's sorry ass. Outside meddling was the reason the duel ended badly for Cairne, so again, not Garrosh's fault, he fought as best as he could, and since his oponent was unknoingly weakened, he won.
so yhea, I dislike A LOT about garrosh, particulary his lack of diplomacy, and his facist tendencies, but the death of cairne was out of his hands, we can't really hold THAT against him.
as much as I loved cairne, he knew what he was getting into, and he was the one who made the first move.
