I couldn't find out how to make a link to a model from the model viewer.

You just use the link that pops up when you open the model viewer.

I'd been holding off doing \
\ ►
Items need a slot:
\ ►
Valid slots:
1 - Helms
3 - Shoulders
4 - Shirts
5 - Chests
6 - Belts
7 - Pants
8 - Boots
9 - Bracers
10 - Gloves
13 - Main (right) hand
14 - Shields
15 - Bows
16 - Cloaks
19 - Tabards
20 - Robes
21 - Right hand
22 - Left hand
25 - Thrown
Itemsets provide a link instead of an image and the number you provide isn't the number for an itemset from the database but each item you want to be shown along with its slot (going itemset=slot, item, slot, item, etc):
\ ►
Oh and I almost forgot the most important bit. The number you give isn't the number for the item or object or npc from the database but the number for the 3D model specifically.
So, one of my favourite items in the game is the
Soul Harvester
But if we take the item's number (20536) and get the model for that we get:
What we need is not the itemID but the displayID. I'm certain that there are better ways to find this but to be honest I've been viewing the page source for the modelviewer link where the displayID is listed.
I see there that it is 33087 which gives us (##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##

I've done a bit of investigating and there's really doesn't appear to be a more elegant way to find the displayID for a model. Kruga's suggestion is fantastic for items but I can only suggest using google Chrome's 'inspect element' for other models.
If you open the page in Chrome, right click the 'view in 3d' button and select 'inspect element' you will see a line like
<a href="javascript:;" id="dsgndslgn464d" class="button-red" onclick="this.blur(); ModelViewer.show({ type: 3, typeId: 20536,
displayId: 33087
, slot: 17 })"><em><b><i>View in 3D</i></b><span>View in 3D</span></em></a>
just above the selected line.
I've underlined the specific bit you're looking for.
Obviously this isn't ideal. There's a possibility that the lovely site devs might be able to make that ID more accessible to users but obviously there's no telling how long this could take with so many important things going on at the minute. I hope this method will let people use the tag for now at least.

I don't think a literal list of all icons exists since basically every object in the database has an icon associated with it.
Queggy has been running
this thread
for quite a while in Off-Topic that might help.

But icons like side_horde, side_alliance, side_both, quest_start, etc. are not associated to anything in the database, so you can't really search for these. It's these ones in particular i'm looking for a list.

As mentioned earlier, you can "Inspect Element".
Yesterday I needed to find the "!" icon for daily quests, opened random daily quest, turned on "Inspect Element" and found the string for it, it was:
<span class="icontiny" style="background-image: url(

)">
So the icon is:

Another resource, still not all that great but somewhere to look for icons, is

Progress bars haven't been included yet :O
I don't know all the options, but here:
Hated Reputation Colored-Bar
with
PERCENT
being 0 through 100, and
rep1,2,3,4,5,6,7
pertaining to Hostile, Unfriendly, Neutral, Friendly, Honored, Revered, and Exalted.
Oh and view-source has come through yet again. Here are the available classes for the progress bar:
rep
ach
green
yellow
red
health
mana
rage
energy
runic
Though from
testing
, it appears the last 5 (health-runic) do not have their formatting applied in a guide... just within a Profiler page.

You should make a black bar behind the rep bar to see how much the bar is actually filled.
True enough. Perhaps I'll find a legitimate use for these in a guide some day, as they are still unusable on the regular user profile page.

Hehe, you've all been busy ^_^
Classes (including things like class=grid for tables) are largely missing from the documentation available to me so that's why I'd overlooked this one. You're digging up the details as well as I would so, good job!
