Paladins can do more helpful miscellaneous things while tanking, if you find yourself bored and with a threat lead.

Yeah, like popping your bubble and watching the rest of the group "LOLWIPE!"
Also cleanses and hand spells, but nevermind. At least you don't have to take all your armor off to use utility spells, unlike druids, which was the main point I was trying to make.
I agree with the second half though. If
you
don't know what you want OP, I don't understand how
we're
supposed to know what you want.

First ask yourself this: Do I want to be staring at a big fuzzy bear butt all day long?
Then go from there.

Warrio- oh...
Never mind.
I'd go with Druid, but mainly because I have a burning hatred for Paladins.

I have been trying to decide on which tank class I want to be. I want to either be a pally or druid but I can't decide which one.
Druid tanking at low levels is tedious and boring.
They can get a ton of HP at 80 though. I saw one with 80000 in ICC the other day.

apples or oranges debate really. Personally I like them both about the same but for various reasons.

So true. bear butt gets old,

I've played both, and I enjoy tanking with both. Druids are (atleast untill cataclysm) easier to get geared at 80, but that's supposed to change.

So are paladins though. Its judgement, holy shield and an initial consecration to hold aggro, for 20 levels straight before you get HotR. Here are the 969 abilities:
Judgement: Level 1
Consecration: Level 20
Holy Shield: Level 40 if you go straight protection
HotR: Level 60 if you go straight protection
ShoR: Level 75
Two core abilities not available until Outland and after.
Not that bears are any better, they have what, mangle and swipe spam for most of the leveling process.
If you don't want tedious at lower levels, go warrior. They get several abilities at lower level, HS, Tclap, Revenge, etc.
Judgement is level 4 =)
And to make it worse, Mangle isn't even til level 5, so it's really just Swipe spam. Agreed on warriors having more to do at lower levels.

It all depends on preference really, I have a tank of each tankable class, various levels. I find druids to be a bit more challenging than a paladin or a warrior, less avoidance skills, and the initial threat of a bear is low, but once threat is built it is hard to lose.
Of all the classes, Paladin tank may be the easiest, along with Warriors, leaving DK's and Druids as a bit more challenging,(which is why we often find such horrid first time DK tanks in ramps while leveling) I wouldn't recommend as a first tank, but if you want a challenge, have at it.
Druid tanking is like a more complex warrior, much like druid feral dps is much like a more complex rogue...takes time to master.
