your in the contest it just wasn't chosen this time, i might be in a later entry, don't forget there are hundreds of people submitting thousands of haiku's in order to try get a key. if its up then you loose i assume you'd have to try your luck again. unless they want to see it up a second time.

technically abbreviations such as pvp really have no syllable count
P is the sixteenth letter of the basic modern Latin alphabet. Its name in English (play /ˈpiː/) is pronounced pee.
V is the twenty-second letter in the basic modern Latin alphabet. Its name in English (play /ˈviː/) is pronounced vee.
So actually it should be counted as three when read :)
Also Thanks!

Hiding in Deepholme,
Untill the time has come,
He will return to corrupt Azeroth
If you want to enter the contest, you need to submit your haiku on the contest page. Entries posted elsewhere are not being considered.
Also I think it is around one or two more hours till the new entries arive.

So would DPS be like an Ace either being 1 or 3(Aces count as either 1 or 11), as it could either be pronounced Dee-Pee-Ess or Deeps?

Those aren't the winners...those today's entrants. The top two will be the winners. Also, I don't think the user names should be posted in the poll, just after the fact.
L2Read. Pretty sure the OP for the contest says their picking 5 of the 10 EVERY WEEK DAY for two weeks.

Not to be a stick in the mud, but isn't the For the Alliance thing not a haiku? missing the proper form. it has 5/8/5
Lok'tar - 2 syllables
ogar - 2 syllables
For - 1 syllable
the - 1 syllable
Horde - 2 syllables
* 8 for the segment
Horde is 1 syllabe

Yeah, that would surely make it rather entertaining to check if a haiku is correct. I personally avoided using any abbreviations in both my entries so far.
