Who think Path of the titans should not have been removed from Cataclysm?

I personally think that Path of the titans was a great feature because cataclysm is based on old gods and it would have been cool to chose from a god to worship(for the spells :D )anyway...who thinks it hould come back?

Considering what Blizzard said about it I'm completely in favor of them removing it and rebuilding it to be a better system at some future time. If it comes to be, great. If not, well, I'm sure they will devote the time to something even better.

Also, don't forget that we're getting the medium glyphs to "compensate" for it.

They took it out because, at the moment, it really wasn't going where they wanted it. They
temporarily
scrapped it, gave us Medium glyphs as a minor substitute, and decided to focus on the guts and basis of the expansion.
I'm sure we'll see it eventually, after it's been gone over a couple of times to improve it. As I understand, however, like Shadow said, it would have just ended up like a second talent tree, with a second set of cookie-cutter points to take. That's just pointless.

Considering that we never actually got to see it in action and the devs were saying that all it was boiling down to was another glyph system as they worked on it, Can't say I'm going to miss it. How can you miss something that you never experienced?

I love posts like these, because they remind me of the
episode of Futurama
where the 80's guy took over Planet Express.
Mom and her three sons are set to vote for the merger, and they all have controllers with what we assume to be "Yes/No" buttons on them.
Mom presses. Voting percent goes from 0% -> 99.7% in favor
Walt presses. 99.7% -> 99.8%
Larry presses. 99.8% -> 99.9%
Igner presses. 99.9% -> 99.9% .1% for Pat Buchanan
What is the point of this? I've always seen Blizzard as Mom, and the rabid people on forums as the sons... And the horrible trolls as Igner.
Always makes me chuckle.

I completely take back my previous posts.
Path of the Titans is in-game

From my understanding as they worked on it in-house, the system was becoming more and more like a second glyph system, so they just decided to remove the pretense and created a new tier of glyphs instead.
A few other things probably factored into their logic:
- It's better to have a small number of features with a lot of depth then a large number of shallow features
- It would of simply become yet another thing for players to max out (ie on top of leveling, gearing, glyphing, gaining reputation, and earning gold, you now had Path of the Titans to worry about).
- It's interaction with archeology made the profession 100% mandatory for every single character in order to be competitive, which could get quite tedious after awhile.
