Female Night Elf druid? Hell no. Originally druids are male only. And I'd say a druid is hardly representative of the Alliance as Night Elves are still kind of newcomers to it (they've only been in for around 10 years, other races in the Alliance have older and deeper bonds between themselves and are more iconic).
Honestly although it is sickening sometimes I think the race/class/gender most representative of the Alliance is a male Human paladin.
Horde is better represented by a male Orc shaman as you say, but a warrior may do as well.

Also what races/class/sex combination does not seem to fit in their faction?
Blood elves. :/
All of them.

Draenei are kinda out of place in the Alliance, but they'd be even further out of place on the horde, so... :P

Especially considering that thet Horde slaughtered ~90% of the draenei race.
For the Horde it is either a male Orc Shaman or a male troll hunter.
For Alliance it is a male dwarf hunter, female Gnome rogue and male Human Paladin. (Yes most are males, but most characters in Warcraft were Males >.>)

Wrong. the corrupted ORCs slaughtered the draneai. They only did it because of Gul'dan.
So what? Most of the Horde is made up of those same Orcs. The Frostwolf Clan, the Warsong Clan...
(And when I said Horde, I meant the Old Horde.)

Gnome rogue.
I think that undead warlocks also fit nicely for the Horde, along with human mages for the Alliance

most hordish class/race/gender combo? and most "allianceish" class/race/gender?
well I think it's kinda obvious.
Horde: Male Orc Shaman. Warriors could count too, but nothing says HORDE better than a shaman calling down thunder to smite yer ass.
Alliance: Human Male Paladin. The Knights of the Silver Hand (and before them, the order of the horse) are the most "stereotypical" of the classes in the alliance, with the whole "golden eagles" on their shoulders.
if we're talking about race representatives:
Dwarf: Male Dwarven Hunter: because a blunderbuss sharpshooter drunken sniper is what truly makes a dwarf.
Night Elf: a tie between Female Huntress and Male Druid, night elves are a dominantly female race, most of their males are druids who've been sleeping for the past thousand years, their most prominent figures are the Sentinels, and now recently the druids.
Gnome: I dunno, they are lame (yes people, LAME, I've never been fond of midgets, dwarves are awesome but gnomes aren't)
Human: the same as the above, Paladins, just paladins.
Draenei: Oddly, Paladins too, their entire race is devoted to the light and the naaru, so a Vindicator with a huge cristaline purple hammer and a holy book is to me the best representative of the race.
Orc: shamans, warriors could count too, but all-in-all the entire orcish society was primaly a shamanistic one LONG before they became a warrior one, today they are a mix of both, but are trying to get back to their primal shamanistic roots (this is shown by how Shamans are held in more higher steem than simple warriors)
Trolls: Hunters, the troll head-hunters and shadow-hunters are the best representatives of the race, but the next closest playable class is hunter. Hexxers are another class that represents them, but I can't think of a playable class that resembles them enough, as they have spells in common with shamans mages and shadowpriests.
Tauren: Warrior, plain and simple, the Tauren Warriors are a force to be reckoned with, while in-game they are just as strong as any other warrior, lore-wise, a Tauren Warrior fighting a.... let's say Human warrior, if both have the same ammount of training, and the same equipment, the tauren would win quite easily.
Forsaken: I don't like them :S they are the "Black sheep" of the horde, but I'd say Warlocks and Shadowpriests, and rogues would be classes that represent them (the whole "embrace the shadows" thingie they have going)
Blood Elves: I would had said Blood Knights (aka paladins) but those are new to the elves, they aren't exactly representatives, the best representatives would be the Elven Rangers, renowed worldwide as THE BEST ARCHERS ON AZEROTH. The Farstriders are known as the finest with bow&arrow. second to nobody.
I can't speak for worgens, they aren't even a race "per se" they are gilneans with a curse, and lore in them is new so I can't really say who represents them best.
I'd say fury warrior (for the whole bestial unleashed rage and all that stuff)
and for goblins, well, they are crazy, quite demented :P so engenier-rogues.

Not that I don't support Draenei killing, but the Frostwolves never drank demon blood.

Goblin: Both genders, Warriors and Hunters
Human: Male Paladin, Female Magi, Male Warrior
Dwarf: Male Hunter, Paladin, Priest
Gnome: Male or Female Warlocks and Warriors
Night Elves: Female Warriors and Hunters, Male Druids

However they did take part in the slaughter of the Draenei.

hehe sorry allies, you are always bunch of LotR wannabe human paladins :P and with WotLK, wannabe Arthas, Fallen Paladin concept everywhere (and again human male for sure) ehehe no hard feelings ;)
Last time I checked, there were no "classes" in LotR that wielded holy energy and were called "paladins". Nothing even close.
