Sir, I have a quest / Escort me home, I am lost / Let's not hurry, though. (Tiemujin)
Enlighten me as to how that's got 28% of the votes, I just don't get it.
Well first, someone logs in then he clicks the checkbox next too it. Then he gets a vote. That is how my friend.

Most of the haikus are meh. And it figures that the one that doesn't make you laugh is getting low votes, i.e the Stand tall brave human one. Guarenteed way to win: Put a meme in your haiku. Really dissapoints me.
P.S. Song lyrics for a haiku? Really?
I was kinda surprised to see mine there. I went for a more serious approach on my submissions thinking that it will give me an edge. Well, I suppose a horde player may laugh at mine...a dark, mental asylum kinda of laugh.
Good luck to all

It's funny, I criticized the haiku from yesterday that played on the Old Spice commercials, saying that it didn't tie into WoW well at all. And yet my favorite haiku for today (the escort quest) has the same lack of WoW-specific-ness.
I disagree with that assessment. My haiku was 100% wow-inspired. I'll let czeano explain, since he did such a great job.
Sir, I have a quest / Escort me home, I am lost / Let's not hurry, though.
Escort quests throughout the game have notoriety for the quest-giver either walking slowly, engaging in unnecessary fights along the route, or being incredibly fragile. This is contrary to how most people imagine themselves being escorted out of a dangerous situation: fast, efficient, and letting the heroes do all the work.
This, of course, excuses knowledge of the escort quest involving Taelan Fordring of the Scarlet Cruade. "In Dreams" is notable in that when the quest is begun,
he
escorts
you
.
