Aren't is one syllable and relationships in four syllables. 4+1=5
Pronunciation: \ˈärnt, ˈär-ənt\
I've personally never heard it pronounced arnt, but could go either way. Learned is still wrong lol
Good catch there. This is a reference from Webster
Main Entry: learned
Function: adjective
Date: 14th century
1\ˈlər-nəd\ : characterized by or associated with learning : erudite <a learned scholar>
2\ˈlərnd, ˈlərnt\ : acquired by learning <learned behavior>
It is most defiantly being used a a verb here
So is it still considered moaning and whining if the person is right? lol

Trust me, it's worse getting in and not winning then not getting in at all.
Rubbish, i know from experience that being pitted against the top X is an honor in and of itself.

To be honest, I'm kinda annoyed that out of the tons of submissions that were in, you picked one that absolutely did not follow a haiku pattern (number 8). It's 4/7/6, unless you're extremely liberal with the pronunciations (stretching "learned" to 2 syllables and shortening "aren't" to 1 syllable). Understandable, but not when this entry made it in over the hundreds of submissions that actually followed the basic rules.

I'm a little worried about mine. I know the chances of it being up already are slim, so I'm not whining about that.
But I used C'thun in there, and I pronounce C'thun as Ca-thun, so it's two syllables to me. But not to everyone else. So should I submit a new one, or does everyone else pronounce it like that?
Again, I'm not complaining. Just an honest question.
