Will we see strength on leather gear and agility on plate in cata?

In TBC several leather (feral pieces) had strength on them, probably to give druids a decent stat that improved their performance without inflating their agility (and thus dodge and crit) to bizarre amounts.
Dps plate sometimes had agility instead of crit, to (guessing here) give some crit without giving too much crit.
In vanilla, lots of leather had strength, even some mail had strength, and lots of plate had agility.
With the removal of attackpower, and arp, there are fewer stats on dps gear, is it possible that blizz will re-introduce strength as means to increase attack power for rogues, druids, enh shammies to give them a decent stat while keeping their agility (and thus dodge and crit) to a reasonable level?
Same with dps plate, will it have agility?
The items we seen so far dont have this, but at higher items levels i think we will see those types of stats again, making plate wearers using leather parts as alternative to plate once again.

But with agility as only source for attackpower, wont dodge and crit reach absolutely insane numbers, maybe not at first, but after a tier or three in cataclysm?
Strength is much easier to balance as it just gives attackpower and not crit or avoidance.
Im not looking forward to stacking expertise just to be able to damage any pve geared leather/mail wearer in pvp:)

you do realize that with the newer higher amount of agi on the gear, they could tweak the numbers of HOW many crit and dodge u get per point of Agi?
is real easy, and much easier to manage than having all those extra stats.
with the removal of AP agi will skyrocket itself to the roof, they could easily lower how much dodge and crit you get per point of agi, and you would still have those 2 stats within regular numbers due to how insanely high your agi will be.
this works too for the DK's I'm guessing that the Passive "Forceful Deflection" will be nerfed slightly, to avoid DK's having too much parry, due to the massive increase of STR in gear.

Doesn't Strength give parry though? Or at least I think it will come Cata if it doesn't at the moment.

only to DK's :P
we are the only ones with the passive
Forceful Deflection
warriors and pallys get block rating with their strenght (wich is gonna get removed in cataclysm)

Ah yeah, got it mixed up with the block rating. Anyways, I doubt this will be a problem to be honest... they'll balance it out somehow. Or maybe agi-classes will get the survivability as a freebie to compensate for not using plate. :-p

Well, if they don't upgrade the BC blues, you'll still see some.

The Falcon (agility and intellect)
Wouldn't that be good for Hunters and Enh. Shamans, though? I mean, assuming of course that it's on mail gear.

Both of them will be mana-independant come Cata. Hunters drop mana entirely and get focus while enhancement shamans get a talent that gives all melee attacks/abillities a very frequently occuring mana proc.

Hunters get no benefit from Intelligence at all anymore. They use focus which isn't like mana.
Enhancement Shamen and Ret Pallys get ungodly amounts of mana restoration included with their basic attack abilities. The only way they would ever run our of mana is if they stopped attacking and only healed.

I'd forgotten the hunter change, and I hadn't heard about retadins/enh. shamans. It makes sense that they'd remove it, then.

Gear of the Falcon (Agility and Intellect) isn't a bad piece, necessarily. Since Shaman get AP from both stats, I don't see why a Shaman wouldn't want this. Although not as much, same goes for a Hunter.

Wait wait wait.. ".. of the Falcon" gear is (or was, come Cata) very good for Hunters and Enhance Shamans. That was not a bad or odd combo of stats.

Come Cata, Hunters will not benefit from Intel, not sure about Shamans but they will be using the same gear as Hunters in the expansion. So, I'll assume Shamans won't benefit as much from Intel.

It is, and will continue to be, until Cataclysm.
