Sar'gon merely chuckled as he saw the worgen leap towards him. He shot a his free hand, palm open, towards the druid, a sheild of demonic energy surrounding the worgen. He then started to tighten his grip into a fist, causing the sheild of darkness to slowly tighten around the worgen.

The druid twitched, shapeshifting into his human form.
"Is it not written, 'Though powerful darkness may be, one spark of light is able to chase it away?' " - he grinned, holding his staff firmly with both hands in front of him. The clouds parted, allowing a single ray of light to descend right onto the druid that pierced a small hole in the shield and went right along the staff. It began to thicken rapidly, looking like the druid was holding a pillar of light.

Sar'gon scowled as he saw the druid's spell beganing to weaken the sheild. He quickly started to use his magic to attempt and mend the sheild around the druid while still closing it in around him.

Now the shield was pierced in two symmetrical places - one directly above Alexander, and one beneath him, allowing him to contact with earth, but so far that was the only progress Alexander could achieve. He decided to distract Sar'gon's attention, so several vines almost noiselessly erupted from the ground behind the demon and in a snake-like manner slippered to him - slower than the druid wanted, but faster than he hoped. The vines so far remained on the ground with Alexander carefully timing his next move.

Sar'gon continued to try and crush the worgen, but the druid was stronger then he had sensed. Still, he had slain stronger, and although it would be difficult to defeat this one he had no doubt that he would prevail in the end.
However he sensed something moving near his feet. He attempted to ignore it, but finally looked down, seeing the vines that he druid had created. Scowling he directed a faction of his focus at them, consuming the plants with fel-fire.

Even consumed by fel-fire the vines lashed upwards, seeking to grab Sar'gon's wrists in their dying moments. Their main purpose, however, was already achieved, for that slight distraction allowed Alexander to break the shield and bombard the demon with dozens of sharp seeds - again, they would both distract Sar'gon and, should any of them land, begin growing rapidly through the demon's body. Alexander smiled satisfiedly - next time, he would have a lot less trouble breaking the shield.

Sar'gon knocked the burning vines away with a blast of shadow, but the seeds struck his flesh. Although just a disguise, he felt the pain of the wounds - although not as much had it been his own flesh. The damage he took was also sufficient to take his focus off of the sheild spell enough to weaken it greatly. He attempted to repower it, but it was too late; the druid had broken free.

Alexander continued to bombard the demon with seeds, seeing that so far it was quite effective. Like a swarm of angered bees the seeds jumped through the air - only this time some of them were meant to explode with poisonous gas upon impact.

Sar'gon caused the next wave of seeds to burst into flames, but a toxic cloud of gas was released all the same. "Enough of this!" he said, a swirling cloud of purple-black smoke enveloped him, and moments later his true nathrezim form was set free.
With a flap of his mighty wings he blew the cloud of poison away. "Now, mortal," he said, looking down at the worgen, "you will die." With a demonic battle cry Sar'gon lunged at the druid, bringing down the hand that held the shadowy orb to smash through the sheild of light surrounding Alexander.

Where the human stood seconds ago a large silvery snake appeared, sneaking between the dreadlords' legs and shifting back to humanoid form afterwards. Exhaling loudly, the druid thrusted his staff into Sar'gon's back, trying to pierce the armor. Numerous offshoots with sharp thorns sprouted from his weapon and reached to the demon's limbs and other places not protected by armor, seeking to grow further through Sar'gon's flesh. Moreover, two more vines erupted from the ground and now tried to tangle the dreadlord's legs.

Sar'gon spun around, pulling away from the grip of the vines and slashed at Alexander with his free hand before raising the hand that gripped the orb and firing several bolts of demonic shadow at the druid.

Alexander purposefully evaded the shadow bolts at the cost of getting slashed across the chest. Luckily, he was still strong enough not to worry about the possible taint the wounds bore. Instead, he jumped away from the dreadlord and raised his arms. Another ray of light descended from the skies, and as the druid clapped his hands, it focused on the shadow orb.

The light hit the orb of shadow, there was no reaction except for Sar'gon's mocking laughter. "You waste your time, mortal," the demon said, raising the hand that held the orb and slamming the sphere of darkness into the ground. The earth began to tremble. "Feel the fury of the Legion!" Sar'gon yelled, although sounding much weaker.
Meanwhile, Thragg struggled back to his feet. Still holding onto his axe he began to stumble over towards the dreadlord.

'
Heh, the longer the fight goes, the more he yells. Doing well so far, Sanya.
' - thought Alexander, dropping to his knees and pressing his palms against the ground. The vines that erupted from the ground this time were significantly thicker and thornier, and on top of everything else partly divided the druid from the dreadlord. Several lashed at the demon, the rest tried to consume the orb within a twirling ball of green mass before it could do anything nasty.

Sar'gon merely laughed as fissures of fel-fire burst from the ground around him, burning the vines badly as they tried to get through. More fissures began to burst up around the area, threatening to restart the fire that Koren had caused earlier. Sar'gon began to feel even weaker, but it wasn't because of the spell alone anymore. The gnome was doing something to him. "Human!" he yelled at Koren. "I require assistance!"
Thragg gripped his head as the earth screamed in pain. He glared up at the dreadlord, and charged towards the demon, axe in hand.

Alexander managed to notice Thragg charging at the dreadlord from behind, so he decided to drag Sar'gon's attention to himself. In the rows of burning, madly lashing vines a gap appeared that could be easily spotted and through which Alexander could be reached. The druid seemed oblivious to that, but he was preparing to counter-attack.

Sar'gon finally was forced to pull away from the destructive spell. "This is only just begining!" the dreadlord yelled, dissapearing in a cloud of black smoke. Upon seeing this, Thragg's charged slowed to a stop and the shaman fell to the ground, exhaugsted.
