So, whenever i level, i always look forward to the Nessingwary Quests in STV, Nagrand, and Sholozar Basin....
so my question is to all you beta users...does Nessingwary come back in Cataclysm, i was looking at the zones and the only one that i think he might show up in is Desolace
even if he doesnt, he should def show up in kalimdor at some time, he has hunted in the jungles of eastern kingdom, northrend, and outlands....why not kalimdor :D

Not really; as he's 'already' there, in STV.

Masochism is the word that came to me upon reading this.
Why? The quests can be fun if you like hunting irl, and especially if you roll a hunter class.

Seems that they aren't adding any new Hemet Nessingwary quests in Cataclysm without counting the revamped ones at STV (I have heard they now use the new "instant quest" system Blizzard added, you don't have to go back to the camp in order to turn in and accept the follow up quests in any of the questchains for those quests).

Instant Quest System? Sounds like a good change, but I have a feeling some of those with rose-tinted lenses are going to complain.
Personally, I will probably greatly enjoy the system but will wonder how immersion breaking the system will be. Having to run back to a quest giver can be annoying, but it makes sense. Also, veteran questers know to grab as many quests as possible and work a loop. My current STV pattern is: Grom'gol -> BB -> Grom'gol -> Nesingwary -> Repeat until zone is done.

I don't like hunting IRL, but the Nesingwary quests are the best for me.
I usually level with my girlfriend and with kill quests, I need to kill X monsters once instead of gathering twice the number of *!@#.

That "immersion break" is being avoided by adding long-range communication devices to the quest (for example, some quest givers provide you also with a radio or Walkie-talkie to communicate; others establish a mental link between them and the player) which make more sense than returning to the camp after each quest.

The game is actually geared with the focus intended on being endgame, which is arguably where most of the content is. I can actually agree with the long-distance communication as long as they only use it for multi-part chains (preferably three or more quests) that directly relate to each other and don't involve receiving/returning a physical object. For example: "Creatures in the cave outside of town are becoming dangerous, curb their numbers." Then after you kill however many you need to: "There is an evil cult behind the creature attacks? Eliminate the cultists and bring me the leader's head/talisman/right big toe." Obviously, at that point you would have to return to the quest giver.
