If I may say one thing about Tol Barad... your faction doesn't have to own it for you to walk in and skin/mine/herb. Just don't flag yourself and you'll be just fine. :) I usually que for a dungeon while I farm on my hunter, and I find that Twilight highlands for the drakes works well for that, but if I need something quick I'll just head to Tol Barad and nab the crocs there. As others stated above, Deepholm bats got nerfed - no good anymore.
BUT the drakes that are literally falling out of the sky in the Pale Roost area of Deepholm are fantastic. You barely have to move around as they just rain down on top of you endlessly. They also drop dragonscale and dragon flanks for cooking, so it's win win win.
