Hey guys, just a quick question, my guild is about to start raiding tommorow night for cata content, and i'm trying to figure out which we should try, between the two, which would be easier, Bastion of Twilight, or Blackwing Descent.
Thanks,

Okay. So. I started pug on my server for blackrock descent.
Its hard.
First boss. Really hard.
You cant stop charge of them and then they kill everyone with whirledwinds. Too hard to hand two bosss oncely like toc10 boss was. It was hard boss also.
And weird thing is that we have all over 330 lvl gear. In raid.
Go bastion.

I don't tend to ever see anyone discussing Throne of the Four Winds which I had heard was the easiest of the entry level raids. Was what I heard in-correct?

Stop right there. Just stop ;)

330 means ur ready for hcs. 346 means ur ready for raiding. Obviously you would lack in every stat and your raid would be far from optimal. Not saying by default you would fail, but chances are just much much higher.
To quote some guys 2 years ago
"You are not prepared!"
Yes. But im over 330. So im over 9000"! HAHA im joking. But im higher than 330. So everyone was geared.

The first boss, Conclave of Winds, is super-easy, just requires a bit of coordination - but has almost no gear requirements.

While it's obviously too late to help the OP, for those who may pick up this thread in the future, I'd say that Blackwing is easier, simply because of the initial bosses; Omnitron is comparatively very easy, while Halfus is actually rather intense, especially with a less favourable drake combination. Conclave of wind is easier still if you want to get a few easy upgrades. To give a relative scale based on both my opinion, and how much trouble they gave our group both top to bottom and left to right (on a comparative scale of Cataclysm raid bosses, what's now "fairly easy" would have been "fairly hard" in Wrath, at least at these gear levels);
Easy: Conclave of Wind
Fairly easy: Omnitron defense system, Valiona and Theralion, Chimaeron, Atramedes
Moderate: Magmaw, Maloriak, Halfus, Twilight Ascendants
Fairly hard: Al'Akir, Cho'gall
Hard: Nefarian
I'm sure some will disagree, but I can only judge on the performance our raid group put in.
Also, don't try to pug this expansion, it won't end well for you.

With the recent nerfs to Magmaw, I'd move him down to Fairly Easy. Can't comment on Chimaeron, but everything else seems relatively correct.
As far as the pugging remark goes, you just have to know how to lead a successful pug. Have resources, know how to tell if a person knows what they're doing by their gear/gem/ench choices.
For the most part though, your average WotLK-type pug probably won't be able to clear much any T11 until T12 comes out, but a coordinated well-built pug should be able to kill everything but the end bosses by the end of the expansion.
Edit: 25 man pugging is relatively dead. Also, even easier than Conclave of Wind is Baradin Hold, but the gear req might be a tad higher (if that makes sense). I would guess you'd want about 340 iLvl avg for Baradin Hold, and you should be able to pull off Conclave with 333 (again, assuming players that know what they're doing). I wouldn't try anything but those two if you're under 346 avg.

To us, everything you post is a joke.
Haha. BURNNNNNN. =D

i wouldnt really consider baradin hold a actual starting raid though,isnt that suppose to be like the voa of cataclysm
It's still "hard."
(Not really, but it is a gear check)

Joking? Raiding is Serious business.
Also your writing is horrible. So are your jokes. So is your ability to comprehend what you need to raid, and that, more than being over 9000 ilevel, is to have a brain. Which I suppose you have, but are not using at the time of posting.

For my guild at least our order of kills so far was
Omno --> Conclave --> Halfus.
In terms of difficulty I'd have to say Conclave was a joke, Halfus was also a joke (Even with Slate + ShadowNova Drake). Omno took us a bit more, but we one tanked it and it turned out much better.
I'd say go Throne of 4 winds yo!
