There are people on WoW and on this site that are far more experienced at playing a Death Knight, so I wanted to ask about haste in relation to DK's.
I just hit 85, but so far all haste on any quest/dungeon gear I've equipped I've reforged to hit and expertise to stay capped.
For Blood DK's and all other tanks, haste is obviously a non-issue as it is at the bottom of the list for desirable stats.
For DPS however, Blizzard has indicated that they want it for Melee DPS because it "allows us to do more stuff".
I am DW Frost Dps. Should I be going after haste with gear/enchants/gems? I always thought the order was:
1st - Hit Cap (8%)
2nd - Expertise Cap (26 expertise)
3rd - Strength (with all gems str)
4th - everything else.

Alcotraz's fantastic tanking guide)) where they are either outdated or non-existent, so I am asking for some help from the community.

As Frost DW you will want to stack str wherever you can as a primary stat as you said. As for the secondary stats it is:Hit to cap>Exp to cap>Mastery Rating>Crit Rating and then haste.
The reason Haste is not benefiting DW as much as 2H is that DW is GCD capped at starter gear anyway so haste does not benefit the spec more than the other 2 secondary stats.
On the other hand 2H has MotFW and Unholy Presence, making haste so much sweeter ^^
If you want to check out where to find a bit more info that can clarify this
Elitist Jerks has a prity good explanation.
