Hi I am an affliction warlock looking for a good way to get the information I need displayed on my screen.
What I need to track is:
Curse of Elements (is it still on)
Corruption (is it still on)
Unstable Affliction (when do I need to recast it (before the last tick))
Bane of Agony (when do I need to recast it (after the last tick))
Haunt (when do I need to recast it (when the cd expires))
Improved Soul Fire buff (do I need to recast it (which is at ~2 sec left on the debuff OR when it falls of if soul burn is of cd)
Shadow and Flame, and Shadow Embrace isn't all that important to track, they should stick if I can do my rotation properly.
I am looking for an addon which is kind of a mix between Quartz and NeedToKnow.
What I like about Quartz is the smart bar timer. The debuff with the least amount of time left is always on the bottom and as such I can quickly see when I need to recast what. The bad thing is it tracks
all debuffs
, and I don't want them all because it takes too much space and I want to track Haunt's CD, Soul Burn CD and ISF buff.
I like NeedToKnow for when I used to use it because you can select what you want to track and group them how you want but the bars aren't smart, they don't organize themselves on time left per group.
TL;DR: I want an addon that can make a group of bars out of debuffs, CD's and buffs I choose, and then organize them from top to bottom having the one with the shortest time left on the bottom.

I need one addon so I can group them all, not two.

Edit: didn't read carefully your post. See above for good suggestions.

That's not really an informative reaction wikipedia.
Forte feels like a clunky addon, tried it once hated it, ill try SBF

Forte is just highly configurable. It really does do exactly what you need it to do, but you need to configure it correctly. It takes some time, but when I was playing my lock I really liked it.

NtK serves all my needs on all my characters.
personally when i set up the auras i want to be aware of the last thing i want is for them to arrange themselves. i want to know exactly where each aura is displayed without having to check which aura each timer is displaying this time.
remember that warlocks are priority based and just because an aura runs out first doesn't mean that it is the next one to be cast.

How would you set up NtK for affliction then asa?

Want us to play for you aswell? It's a addon, like any other. Most likely with a GUI, check the FAQ at the download mirror perhaps?
yes, you got me &*!@storming. 'cause I really don't like your attitude.

Oh my god he is asking the community for advice!
Attitude translates very poorly through forum so chill out. Or are you just upset your 2 words and 3 dots werent enough for me? You don't have to post you know.
I know asa a bit from the lock forum and value his advice, hence the follow up question.

I won't even bother. I'll just second to most of the things that Brokle mentions.

i don't do anything at all special.
i use two separate NtK blocks. the main one sits directly under my character near the centre of my screen and shows the main DoTs and cooldowns i need to track.
Character
Haunt -----
UA -----------------
BoA --------------
Corruption --------
haunt shows the cooldown not the duration.
UA uses the visual cast time function to show how long it would take to cast.
i actually use power auras to show CoE (because of it's long duration it doesn't really need a bar) but you could track it with NtK if you wanted. make sure you set up either addon to also trigger from the various other debuffs which do the same thing (from moonkin, rogues, DKs, other locks).
i have a separate block with two bars that sits under my player unit frame but basically just somewhere slightly further away from the centre of the screen.
one tracking the ISF buff on me
the other tracking the SnF debuff on my target (this also looks for scorch from mages)

Reminds me of people asking, "What's a good UI?"
I
hate
that question.
