It all depends on what you are looking for. You can play WoW just fine on pretty much any new computer on the market, you just cant play on ultra graphic settings.
I just got my son a new laptop from Best Buy, a Compaq model, that was only $300. It runs WoW just fine with most graphic settings in the middle ranges, and is also just fine for basic computing, like schoolwork and internet.
If you are looking for something that can run on ultra, than the Alienware is a good option.

i honestly dont know what graphic settings i was running on because my video card is now outdated for WoW which is why im looking for a laptop for the most part, but my computer is maybe two years old so im looking for something that wont get outdated by WoW soon which is why i have been looking at alienware but im also feeling that alienware is a little high tech for my knowledge range on computers and gaming
Again, unless you are looking for Ultra, or close to it, settings, i can't believe that your graphics card is "outdated" for WoW.
I currently play on a Dell XPS 400 that was built on 3/6/06 according to the service tag. The only upgrade I have made to it is adding a second gig of RAM. It has a plain GeForce 6800 graphics card and 400mhz DDR3 RAM. Im mean we are talking ancient gear here. And it runs WoW just fine, 60fps in most places, maybe drops to 20-30 fps in a 25man raid. I run my graphics towards the low range, but the game itself is very much playable. I have played WoW on other machines at Ultra settings, and while it is nicer, its not necessary to enjoy the game.
What you may want to be more concerned with is if YOU end up getting outdated for WoW. in other words, most of the other games out there do require quite a bit more than WoW.

Try this one
Be warned though, it is a refurbished one.
(Also very slightly more than 600)
