Any computer build/created/manufactured/whatever in the last, 5 years easily, can run WoW with no problem.
While you may not be able to run WoW on the max settings, while listening to music on iTunes, and rendering some animation on AfterEffects, you can run the game just fine on practically anything.
Case in point: My laptop is getting a bit old, what with 4G RAM, a 2.0GHz single core processor, and an NVidia GeForceGo 7200 graphics card, and I can still run the game at 20-40FPS on middle ground settings no problem (though I generally drop the view settings down when raiding).
