You can swap between forms directly, there is no need for /cancelform or a macro.
Not quite true, if you're flying you have to make a cancel macro or hit flight form first before you can shift into something else. Just hitting cat will throw an error.

This is only true if you have the "auto dismount in flight" option turned off in your interface settings.

And for people like me, its always turned off.
... so that when my finger slips and I suddenly hit a buff, I don't go plummeting to the earth, lamenting my inability to not fat-finger keys while flying.
That being said, I simply have my flight form bound to my V key, and cat form to the F key... its no problem to hit V to drop form, and then F to cat it up.

Course ... why would you ever have autoDismount turned OFF for a Druid. Skydiving is one of the great pleasures of having Flight Form.
