Gambling suggestion for WoW

I was quite pleased that a "slot machine" (fortune cards) were added into world of warcraft, but I'd like to put forward my ideas to take gambling in WoW a step further, for the singular purpose of hopelessly addicting even more people to a game within a game, purely because I am a bad person.
Anyway, I'd like to see more gambling in WoW, so I have a few suggestions to that end. Perhaps someone has made a post similar to this before, perhaps not... but I have an idea, therefor I will share it. = )
So I've had alot of fun with fortune cards and have been thinking about ways to put gambling in WoW for some time now, but now that it's actually happened, I feel I can post my suggestion without it being an out-of-reach goal. Firstly I think a goblin / gnomish casino of some sort would be appropriate, perhaps located in orgrimmar and stormwind, with a level requirement of 18 to enter, of course.
It's mostly just for the aesthetic value, but a specified location for it would be more orderly in my opinion than a gambling system / que like the looking for group system. I figure different games / tables and the like would be something you can join via sitting in the chair, similar to how barber shops work nowadays.
Not every form of gambling would be integrated, just some, this is for fun and my wallet after all. We allready have slot machines in the form of fortune cards, so adding in those would be entirely pointless - but there are some games that could be present in the casino.
I was thinking poker (specifically texas hold em) and roulette. I suppose craps wouldn't be too bad either.
Anyway, texas hold em presents the ability to make sure gold is always present in the pot. I think there would be a few adjustable stats to it, like how high / how often the blinds are raised, and the buy in. If you do not know what I am talking about, basically, with texas hold em, the buy-in is the money you put on the table to join the game, matching the other players. Some money must be put into the "pot" each round, so the game cannot last indefinitely.
Texas hold em games would have a few different buy-ins, low, normal, and high-roller. You can chose to create a game or join one from a list (with the listed number of players and buy-in) Low would be buy-ins that are measured in silver and low ammounts of gold, normal would be between a 100-500 gold buy in, and above 500 would be the "high roller" gambling. The low is mainly so that low level players can also join.
There would be safeguards against disconnects, afk's, and ragequits. I pondered this a bit, at first I considered if there were someone to ragequit from a texas hold em, the player's remaining buy-in would be split amongst the remaining players... but that did not balance out properly. Then I considered awarding it to the player that was in a commanding position above them, that also didn't balance out. My eventual conclusion was that the money should go into a pot awarded to the winner at the end of the game, it's the only fair way to balance it.
as for disconnects and AFK's, this is why I suggested texas hold em specifically - money must always be in the pot, so if a player does not respond for a given ammount of time or is offline they automatically fold each round untill they come back or are eliminated. That's alot more fair than eliminating them wholesale for a single disconnect.
For the sake of balance, you shouldn't get to view the names of players when joining a public match - similar to a random dungeon. The viewable details would include the required buy in and number of players. You can play texas hold em in a party, but a party may not join public matches - no boosting or bullying over vent, sorry. = )
As for a way for this to be a gold sink, well, I would much prefer that 5% of the money at the end of the match goes directly into my WoW account, but if blizzard wants to be mean to me, I suppose at the end of a game, 5% of the end ammount going to the "casino" could be a decent gold sink for the sake of economic balance, similar to an auction house cut; Though I do put forward the suggestion that the cut goes to me, for the record, as I do enjoy a jingle in my pocket.
Anyway, That's my idea for how to integrate texas hold em. Another idea I had was roulette. If anyone is unfamiliar, the simple concept is that people place bets on different numbers, and which number a ball lands on wins. The way it would work in WoW would be mostly the same as in reality, but the "casino" is essentially the auction house and money won by the "casino" functions as an auction house cut. Accordingly, there would be a "house edge" tied into the maximum ammount of payout. I think this would also be a good way to create a gold sink in the economy, though I still believe that I should be allowed to own the casinos of Azeroth and the gold should go to my wallet, rather than the auction house (though if I had things my way, I would own that too!)
Please feel free to leave comments either telling me that you like the idea, have one of your own, or that I am a greedy and inhumane person, et cetera.
But please avoid any comments on how blizzard has an anti-gambling stance or that gambling is not family friendly or other nonsense, as gambling is already integrated into world of warcraft in the form of the slot machine / lottery of fortune cards.
Good Day!

It would be kinda fun in-game to have a "scratch-off" type gambling system.
Buy the "ticket" from a vendor for 25g-1000g for a chance to win various prize amounts, or nothing.
we have this, mysterious fortune cards

Didn't even need to read the whole thing.
Blizzard doesn't allow gambling in order to avoid pesky anti gambling laws in certain countries. I'm fairly certain the fortune cards simply avoid these laws. Introducing a system, like the one you are suggesting, won't and will leave Blizzard liable.
Sorry.
I dont think in game gold and real money are the same thing. Terms of service talks about it a little. Simple games like heads or tails on a cool down might be fun. On the other hand, gold sellers could have a field day.
