Are all healers the same now?

I know there is a lot of QQ about the mana issues but that is
not
supposed to be the topic here.
While the mana change is a lot more apparent than the other changes it is not the one that worries me the most.
Back in WotLK every healing class had a niche that made it unique. Shamans had their unparalleled CHs, Paladinis had their hard hitting single target healing and Druids had their unrivaled mobility through instant casts.
I feel like all this is gone now. Every single healing class has the basic setup of inefficient fast, efficient slow small and slow large heal. The defining characteristics are still present a little bit but all healing is centered around those three spells now which are not really different between the healing classes.
Is our "uniqueness" really gone? Has Cataclysm smelted the unique characteristics of each class (mainly our awesome mobile healing) into one big gooy "there is only one way to heal now!"-ball?

I wouldn't say our uniqueness is gone. It shows a little less than before maybe, but I still feel more mobile then other healers with my hots rolling on tank, juvi + swiftmend when/if needed, wild growth, all instant casts giving us room for movement. Especially when we pop tree form, nothing but instant casting for 30-40 seconds.
