Mirrored Images and The Stonecore...

This has happened twice to me in Stonecore. We get on a boss fight, I pop mirrored image, go about my business dpsing on the boss when out of nowhere comes the whole rest of the instance right on top of us.
First time, we didn't know what happened, where they came from, or anything. We shrug it off as bad luck. Round 2. Same thing, popped mirrored image, start nuking boss, and bam, tons of mobs on us. This time the healer seen my images hitting other mobs instead of the boss.
Is this a glitch, or am I doing something wrong? I've never had them attack anything other than what I was attacking in the past. I also noticed my Water Elemental was trying to wander off and attack things on his own. I was able to keep him reigned in and under control so it wasn't an issue. I have no control over the images. Has this happened to anyone else?

I can't recall if I had boss targeted or not before I popped Mirrored Image. I'm pretty sure I did. The Stonecore was the only instance I've run that we left mobs behind. We were able to get past them without aggroing them, so we didn't waste time on them. It's also why I never noticed it on the other Dungeons (we killed everything in our path and left nothing behind).
Those were the mobs that got pulled. It happened again this morning with another guildie on his mage. I guess the rule of thumb would be not to use mirrored image if you didn't kill EVERYTHING on your way to the boss.

It's a bug that got introduced in Cata, and has nothing to do with how it worked before. Basically, your image aggro radius is really huge now, and will pull mobs rooms away. They don't even have to attack them to get aggro.
Safest thing to do ... Don't use MI until Blizz fixes this.
