Okay I got 1 more free slot in the server I'm currently in and I want to roll a druid, I have a lvl 73(around that) Druid on another server but getting her to my current server would cost Faction+Server change(50 €).
I've been doing some research on leveling specs and looked at stuff in Live on my 73 druid which I hardly play lol.
I have access to all heirlooms atm, I got Leather melee+2h mace, Cloth caster And both 2x both Trinkets.(CBA to get +4k JPs just for small Armor increase and the fairly small Armor Spec bonus, and the cloth ones look better anyway).
Race
Troll, best race, and I don't want to be a cow.
Talents
Need opinions on which is the fastest leveling(QUEST!) Spec at the moment with lower downtime.
Now, If I choose Feral(Cat) as my leveling spec, I will also spec for Tanking, and if I spec Balance, I will go Resto OS at lvl 30.
Feral
I've liked the Feral gameplay from the PvP(80 and 85) videos I've seen, the Bleeds are quite powerful and Rogues can't CoS those off ;).
Feral (Cat)
Feral (Bear
Balance/Resto
I tested Balance a bit more since I had the gear for it(Just did random rotation tests with Feral on Dummies with caster gear on to get a feel for it :D) And I won't have Hit problems after I get the Spirit -> Hit Conversion talent.
Balance
Resto
Gamestyle
I will be doing all 3 ways of Leveling: Questing, Dungeons and ocassional PvP.
That is why all my specs include the Insta-root Glyph for quick escape.
Tell me what you think is fastest and least down-time way.
Thanks in advance!

i prefer feral for leveling. pretty much zero down time, the most you might have to do is put a few HoTs on yourself while running to the next mob, but you should never be oom doing so. you can also spec and gear bear, for near instant dungeon ques while lvling, and just be in cat form for killing mobs. this would allow you to choose balance or resto for an offset at 30 if you wanted to gather another gear set and try either of those out.

Personally I'd level as feral till 30 then go balance since you get boomkin then. But keep the feral spec for tanking heroics/doing pvp. Or you could have the resto spec for that. Whatever you want really. But I think the balance/feral combo is gonna be faster.

I don't want to have 2 sets of gear taking up all of my bag space. And I hate to always try and find that 1 piece of gear after each dungeon run which I rolled for OS(Quest spec) and then to remember to save the gear set :F

Feral FTW
Not that it's really needed, but I made you a leveling build:

Blood in the Water will be good in a 80+ dungeon build but mobs won't last long enough while leveling for it to be of use. Rake>Mangle to 5 CPs> FB> dead mob
And here's a tanking offspec build:

I'm not a fan of KotJ in a tanking build. I use enrage between pulls to avoid the debuff during combat.

Take your end game desired spec into consideration as you near max level. You'll want to start grabbing quest rewards related to your spec of choice.
Im currently leveling up another druid and as feral cat, i have zero downtime. I rarely need to look at my HP. Against greens, the common scenario is Ravage, Mangle, Mangle, FB, dead. I don't drop enough HP to pop out to heal on even levels either. As feral, I also take tank talents and hit up the random LFD to grab some better gear along the way. Q times as a tank are pretty much instant.

In case you didn't look at my OP, I had the specs there.

Good point, to be a bit more precise:
Since you need ilvl 329 as average to enter HCs it's pretty much sufficient to take the end game spec into account when you enter the Twilight Highlands (at lvl 84). You will get ilvl 318 greens and ilvl 333 blues as quest rewards there, pretty much everything else you obtained earlier has to be replaced anyway to be able to enter HCs so you can chose all quest rewards up to that point only for leveling (or the one with the highest value for vendoring).

I will be Feral DPS for PvP from what I've been thinking so far and Resto or Feral Bear for PvE whichever my Guild needs(Enjoy all 3 roles, I'm 1 of the rare ones it seems? :o)

Well.....I'm the proverbial John Kerry of druid roles. I enjoy all 4 and I know many other druid-types do as well.

I meant 3 roles as DPS, Tank and Healer.

I realize you had your specs but as a seasoned feral I gave you some suggestions for moving your talents around (for leveling).
And as for liking all 4 druid roles, that's why i have 2 80+ druids :)
