Fishing in Cata?

I've been fishing some in Cata (I think I'm up to about 470 or so), and I believe I remember hearing in the months before the Cata release that Blizzard was looking to make fishing a little more interesting/fun.
Now, I've been doing the fishing dailies (which according to WoWHead has super boring drops), but other than that I haven't seen anything new or interesting in regards to fishing. Honestly it seems as if LK had more interesting rewards and incentives to fish.
I'm probably missing something, so I'm hoping that you all might have a few comments, if anything ... just to say what you enjoy about fishing in Cata!
Thank You!

Yea, fishing hasn't changed much. Here's what you have to look forward to in Cataclysm though.
Not all BiS fish drop from pools, specifically tank and healer/dps food, as well as materials for the best raid feast which you probably don't have access to atm, must be fished in open water. I am talking specifically about lavascale catfish and deepsea sagefish.
You have a pretty decent chance to catch volatile water while fishing, this is a nice bonus, both realms I play on get 12-15g/water, and every time you catch water you'll catch 1-3. this is from both open water and pools.
Fishing grants you the best feast in the game atm, via the achievement 10,000 fish from pools (guild not personal).
You seem to be able to fish up tome of polymorph turtle though I haven't caught one myself.
WotLK had options for most foods to be fish or not, there are not as many cooking recipes in Cataclysm, so fish are going to be pretty useful, as people aren't going to usually have the option not to use them and just use something else.
Your fish will sell. Even if pool fish are pretty fished out because everybody is going for the 10k fish achievement, feasts are Bind on Pickup. You will be able to sell seafood magnificent feast mats without having to cook them.
You can fish volatile fire. On my realm this is 2-3k /hr if nobody else is there (I catch 90+ fires in an hour). There are 4 pools in Mount Hyjal east side of that lake of fire. You can pretty much fish up vendor trash in the open water(lava) there, so if it's camped atm come back later.
I personally enjoy fishing when others aren't there, I mostly just catch eels on the coast of uldum, because Tol'Barad is pretty rough for my rogue in her fishing outfit.
