Okay so i just got back into PvP with my lvl 63 Undead Mutilate Rouge and i have notice that im having a hard time getting 5 stacks of
Deadly Poison
on the target so im forced to use
Eviscerate
for more damage, which against plate users there armor cuts that damage in half.
I thought that
Master Poisoner
would fix that problem but im only seeing 2 stacks on my target before i have to choose between
Eviscerate
and
Envenom
.
I have
Deadly Poison
on my offhand, should i switch it to my main hand? But then i kinda gimp
Deadly Brew
if i dont have
Wound Poison
on my main hand.
Im using
this spec
right now.
Does
Cut to the Chase
fix this problem? If so were in my PvP 'Rotation' should i have it in?
This
is my Rouge btw.

Hell, during PVP or soloing if I want to use envenom and get those stacks up their quick, because of Overkill I just will hit envenom even if their is only 2 stacks up their. With how quick our energy regens I hardly care I'm not hitting them as hard as I can on the first envenom, because I know I will hit them hard with the second.

There are other finishers you can use on platies if you don't like envenoming at low number of stacks. Rupture springs to mind. I'd drop (some of) the points in Deadened Nerves and put some in Venemous Wounds for additional rupture goodness. One point in Cut to the Chase isn't something I'd bother with. Three or none.
I'd also hold out on PvPing until I was at 66. I hate being the little guy in BGs, especially with rogues (they keep seeing me) and casters (can't seem to hit anyone). And you're up against people with Northrend gear (68+).
Just my five pennies' worth.

Put some points in Murderous Intent.
It isn't what you asked, I know, but you will benefit from it.

You do know that once you envenom that you get a buff which increases poison application, right?
Also wound poison sucks for pvp as mutilate.
Improved poisons + damage of instant outweigh the 10% healing debuff.
Edit:
Frames, i still remember you and have your quote lying here:
PvP never was this fun as sub. In sub i felt like i had to plan every battle perfectly or i'd die, and if i didnt kill em with the burst then im screwed, but now i hit like trucks on plate, let alone cloth!
You still havent hit 80/85?

hello, use DP offhand and I will solve your problems <3<3
if evic cut the damage in half on plate......why not just use envenom then even on 3 points?
I like to go the bleed out tactic on non-healers, not best tactic but I pvp just for fun

No I stopped playng on my rouge when 4.0.1 hit ti work on my Pally/Druid.
Okay so i'll use instant poison.
So is there a pvp roatation i should be following?
And yeah i still remember that, i still find it to be 100% still true too.

There isnt really a rotation for pvp, but certain stuff like opening with garrote and keeping rupture up.
Try reading the new pvp guide and you should get an idea about what is important and why.

Yeah i saw that you said we should be using slice and dice but i dont have the energy to include it in my opener. Should i use it during the over all battle?

Garrote ->SnD->Muti ->Muti->Rupture
Rinse and repeat replacing Rupture with Envenom when necessary.
You say you don't have the energy to include SnD in your opener, which leads me to believe you are still Ambushing? At around Outland level, it becomes worthless as armor scales significantly, plate it's worthless against as soon as they use it and Garrote has the silence for casters.
You have 120 energy,
Garrote costs 50
SnD costs 25
This also means there is a very short space needed for your next Envenom, and by this time you'll be piling on the pressure.
As for your spec,
this
will counter the energy starvation.
With Garrote and Rupture up for almost all the fight, you'll never really be energy starved again.
I dropped 1 point in Deadly Brew and 1 point in CttC. You can put the points back into CttC afterwards if you like, but Venomous Wounds is more important.
