To all you fresh 85 priests out there, some words of encouragement. Holy is fun, and is much better than disc. Pug groups will not be your friends, and you may question your ability to heal in them. Guild groups are good, but you will have to be very careful with mana at the start. Why am I posting this?
Because I was a doubter.
I just finished my Glory of the Cataclysm Hero with a guild group. Avg 349 ilvl. Some of the achievements themselves are hard but with gear mana is not an issue. My group doesn't even bother ccing anymore...

I can continuesly spam flash heal and never need to use heal, as my mana reg is very decent along with the trinks i have.
I call BS.

I'm not sure with disc, but with holy flash heal spam is certainly possible, at least on trash. Since there is no CC, I often have to flashx2 greater to keep the tank up. On a boss I would try to conserve more.

Since there is no CC
What's this about
? If you're in a group where they're not CCing trash... you have bigger problems than your mana.
