I'm just wondering, I want to earn some money, so I want to take the mining proffesion. I have inscription currently, but if I unlearn inscription for mining, then learn it again, will I keep my skill level?

You can learn two primary professions. What do you have besides inscription?
Also, Silver ore is a rare spawn off of Tin nodes. It is not a very reliable method of making money. Might be slightly more successful if you are high enough level to have flying.

Even the best manufacturer cannot work without materials. It is intended to have a crafting profession along with the fitting gathering profession.
she cannot go to Pandaria because she cannot pick the herbs there
Actually, you can now pick herbs in Pandaria at any skill level, it will grant skillups, but only yield partial herbs such as
Rain Poppy Petal

she also still has to find about a thousand frostweave cloth plus a lot of expensive items to get her tailoring upYou are a warlock, with the Northrend Scavenging, and you are having issues finding cloth? Just go find large groups of humanoid NPC's, gather them all up, then AoE them down; you'll get the cloth in next to no time...or, alternatively, take that level 90 hunter through Utgrade Pinnacle, Halls of Lightning or Nexus heroic and just send all of the cloth you get from them to the baby lock; that works too.

I have alts with all professions too, and I have never been really short on funds (ignoring the first time I bought flying back in BC) largely because I only buy mats off the AH if I am feeling exceptionally lazy.
All my prof leveling has been sourced from my own gathering. I have one herber, one miner and one skinner, and I will look up the page of the material I need for tips on places to farm and go gather several stacks that are sent to the alt who is leveling.
There are several very good (free) guides for profession leveling online, as well as the profession section here on Wowhead. One good boost is to do the Darkmoon Faire profession quests each month.

If you are powerlevelling a prof the only recipes you need to purchase are the ones you are going to use to get X skill points, the rest can be considered filler.
Using a prof levelling guide you use only the recipes which provide the most bang for the buck, that is to say provide the most skill points with the least amount of materials. You also skip the expensive parts of each skill bracket (which are always the last 25 points) by moving on to the start of the next bracket. For example, while yes, you could farm up/buy the mats to craft Cata recipes to level from 500-525, it is easier and cheaper to move on to Pandaren recipes at 500.
If you are levelling crafting as you level your toon, your crafting will necessarily lag behind a bit. Just vendor or auction any mats you collect for last-25-point recipes and wait till you can gather mats for the next tier.
And yes, recipes get outdated quickly. That's the nature of the game. But, if you bother to educate yourself on your server's economy, you'll find that a lot of 'outdated' recipes are still profitable. Craft those ones. For example, at the end of the xpac, once the last raiding tier is passe, people will turn their attention to alts and PvP. Entry level MoP gear will become profitable to craft as will entry level PvP gear and enchants and gems etc.
You can either be smart about crafting and be happy, or do it haphazardly and be miserable. Afterall, it's not like the information is hard to find, or is arcane in nature. If you don't educate yourself about it, you've only yourself to blame.

THE CREATIVE PROFESSIONS DO NOT MAKE MONEY, THEY COST MONEY!
Silly...I made 150k off of the reborn weapons by selling 2 the first month after they came out (2 Blacksmiths). And plan on making about 450k off the engineering mount in 25 days (3 engineers).
I am currently playing a level 85 Warlock (herbalist - tailor) Since you can fast track through the lower levels she cannot go to Pandaria because she cannot pick the herbs there and she also still has to find about a thousand frostweave cloth plus a lot of expensive items to get her tailoring up.
Someone doesn't read patch notes apparently. Herbalists get partial plants like Nulgar mentioned (Miners can do this as well). And as for frostweave cloth, there are many spots where you can farm 1000 cloth in about an hour.
Personally, I find that when leveling a character you match a gathering profession with a crafting profession (if needed). For example...
Skinner > Leatherworker
Miner > Jewelcrafter/Blacksmith/Engineer
Herbalist > Alchemist/Inscriptionist
Tailor > Enchanting (make green cloth gear and DE)
Then once you get 90, you have a maxed crafting profession with little to no gold invested if you are smart about farming and AH purchasing..(remember, you can level more than 1 alt at a time people!)

None of my professions have ever cost me more money than they made me, and I have all of them except skinning and leatherworking. A big part of making gold with a crafting profession is either having the right gathering professions, like lonewolfe says, or figuring out what conversions of mats to finished items have the best profit margins when you have to buy mats. Another huge part is knowing the game well enough to know what is worth selling, and how to maximize the gold made while leveling. Many low level items still have use at end game, and so you can price them for end game players. Many end game players choose to spend gold to level through the low level parts of a profession, because you make so much back later, and so will pay for mats that are low level at pretty decent prices. Low level greens can be broken down and sold as enchanting mats. Low level blues sell for high prices to twinks. Certain items are valuable for transmog regardless of their stats or I-level. Some low level potions- like invisibility, swiftness, water walking, etc. are still used at level 90. Certain low level enchants are good for twinks.
The thing that will make the difference in whether it costs or makes you money is how patient you are. If you're willing to farm your own mats, to wait until prices are low to buy mats, to look at the market and see what sells- you'll make gold. If you want to buy everything, and don't know what to sell, then you will lose money.

Did you actually read the thread? Here, I'll help.

As for frostweave, what is your actual tailoring level? You can farm a lost of cloth off the undead in the valley north west of ICC.
Duskweave Shoulders
and
Frostweave Bag
crafting will easily get you to 425 without expensive mats, at which point you can make
Bolt of Embersilk Cloth
. Embersilk can be bought for justice points, or get yourself some
Potion of Treasure Finding
s and go kill humanoids. You only need to get to 500 tailoring to make
Bolt of Windwool Cloth
. Oh, and don't forget to do the Darkmoon Faire tailoring quest in a week or so for 5 (almost) free skill points.
