I haven't heard anything but I haven't leveled Archaeology to an appreciable level, which seems to be a common theme.
As to the comment about Twilight's Hammer attempting to resurrect C'Thun, they certainly make mention of him/it enough. I just did the
Graduation Speech
quest and it mentions C'Thun with some interesting implications.
I guess I have to go level Archaeology to start feeling special with creepy voices whispering to me. :D

I just read all these from the Puzzle Box, and it makes me think if it really is about Yogg-Saron. Sounds more like Shub-Niggurath new Old God to me. And the Old God in the Maelstrom (presumed.) And a Giant Rook? Not to mention there's a new forgotten city of R'lyeh for WoW.At the bottom of the ocean even light must die
• The silent, sleeping, staring houses in the backwoods always dream. It would be merciful to tear them down.
• There is no sharp distinction between the real and the unreal.
• Even death may die.
• There is a little lamb lost in dark woods.
• All places, all things have souls. All souls can be devoured.
• What can change the nature of a man?
• The stars sweep chill currents that make men shiver in the dark.
• You will all be alone in the end.
• Do you dream while you sleep or is it an escape from the horrors of reality?
• Look around. They will all betray you. Flee screaming into the black forest.
• In the land of Ny'alotha there is only sleep.
• In the sleeping city of Ny'alotha walk only mad things.
• Ny'alotha is a city of old, terrible, unnumbered crimes.
• Y'knath k'th'rygg k'yi mrr'ungha gr'mula.
• The void sucks at your soul. It is content to feast slowly.
• The drowned god's heart is black ice.
• It is standing right behind you. Do not move. Do not breathe.
• Have you had the dream again? A black goat with seven eyes that watches from the outside.
• In the sunken city, he lays dreaming.
• Open me! Open me! Open me! Then only will you know peace.
• You resist. You cling to your life as if it actually matters. You will learn.
• The tortured spirits of your ancestors cling to you, screaming in silence. Apparently they are quite numerous.
• The fish know all the secrets. They know the cold. They know the dark.
• The giant rook watches from the dead trees. Nothing breathes beneath his shadow.

Clever move by the DBM developers. If only Blizz had the presence of mind to capitalize on the idea.

Good job DBM. They also do this in a lot of boss-fights (I.e. on Ozruk when Shatter is being cast you always hear "Run away little girl!"

It's an HP Lovecraft Eldritch horror. The black goat of the forest with a thousand young. Now Worgen were not named for Negrow and get your mind out of the racism gutter.

I know, I know, I was just making a joke.
Now Worgen were not named for Negrow and get your mind out of the racism gutter.
Obviously, but afterall, pre-cata, it was Arugal (a white man) who had all the Worgen under his control and on his side in SFK. He was the final boss. It just went together so perfectly.

God dammit stop doing this to me!
I see four Old God's it directly refers too. Yogg-Saron (assuming Even Death may Die is his kinda thing), a Forest-God (Tirisfal Glades?), an Underwater God (Maelstrom), and something to do with a rook (may also be the forest one, as it is from dead trees).
