You and the other 10,000 people that have already done it. Nice post and all, but maybe scroll through the hunter forums and find otu what others have said, because a lot of them go way, way deeper than yours.

kill command
deterrence:
Deterrence now provides 100% chance for melee attacks to miss instead of 100% parry chance. This means that attacks that cannot be parried, notably some rogue abilities, can now be prevented by Deterrence, and the hunter will gain the benefit of Deterrence even if disarmed.

Oh cmon. Give him some credit. I thought this was a pretty nice thread.
And now, I have to go back to working on my side project "The History and Evolution of Hunters: A Moderate Analysis"

Looking very good. I don't have anything to add for actual content, but you might want to press enter twice between paragraphs, because seeing so much text grouped together can be rather daunting for some people, and if those people aren't that interested in the topic at hand anyway, they may just ignore it entirely.

so, maybe this thread is a good place to talk about targeting?
you target other
problem: you're happily shooting your target but when it dies your character goes ahead and starts shooting the other ones behind it.
you can do two things that help:
interface > combat > turn off auto attack
this prevents you tabbing to targets after auto attack has been triggered and having auto shoot just keep going
/cast cobra shot
this prevents the problem where if you have no target and then press one of your shot buttons with a potential target in range you character acquires a target and starts shooting. you need to add to every shot you have.
however, with these precautions in place i still have embarrassing moments where the current target dies and my character starts shooting the pack behind.
this isn't a button spamming issue (and the macros should solve that problem anyway), i've seen this occur when i have a single cobra shot being cast on a target as it dies, no other buttons pushed, the target dies before the cobra cast is complete and my character still starts auto attacking something behind.
the game feature that the macro prevents simply needs an in-game option, a tick box in the combat section. but is anyone else seeing this other thing? all precautions taken and still the character pulls?
