Gathering Professions are making very nice money now in the ah. As the prices are like there always are at the start of a expension.
Crafted gear that has item level of 333 start real nice also. Depends on the profession. Example the BS Crafted Chest sell nice but there is a quest reward that is right on par with it. Tailoring (as you said preist) is nice but not very cost effective on my server stacks of just the cloth sell for 200g each. Random BoE Blue items are nice bets also.
As far as the meat for cooking people that don't want to wait to skill-up slowly. But even this is not a very good point as there is now food that gives a random stat + Stam. These foods are nice specially with toons that are dps/heals/tanks by saving back space by only having to carry 1 stack of food around. (Look at the fish for the new feast those may sell well)
