Anyone here every frequent BeerAdvocate.com?
As a homebrewer moving into bigger production I like to stay up on all the various options and developments in the craftbeer market. I like the information and community of the site, but the interface is so awful! I come to wowhead a lot for my WoW information and just wish and think how BA would be so much better if they had the development team that is behind Wowhead.com.
I'd be willing to go back to school just to learn the stuff I'd need to do it but I fear that is just un-doable and it would take a team to do it...
In this new world of information overload, the ability to process and present it in a usable format is where the future and money is. Whether it be stocks, WoW items, or beers/ales/etc....

I have always wanted to brew my own beer. My Brother in law did it back in the early 90's and some of his recipe's were excellent.
I've never been to that site but I'll check it out and see if it has any info I can use to get started.

There are tons of kits out there, I'd say start with a malt extract kit. It starts out with a slight upfront cost, but after the initial, all you need is the ingredients...
and then...
$25-$35 = 5-10 gallons of beer

That's a great idea Fulgorater. If you manage to streamline, improve and simplify the data and the way it is delivered on the website you could start something new that could very easily explode in popularity. Such is the way things are on the interwebs huh? Beer and homebrewing is a large global market, and though you may not be able to keep it profitable initially, it could prove promising. If you are making your own alcohol from home, surely you can try to do some webpage design stuff from home too!
Wowhead is a prime example too.
