Warrior Threat?

So, I have a question for you guys. I've been playing a warrior for about 4 and a half years, so I'm not completely ignorant of the class.
Just a question, but has anyone else been seeing other classes do insane amounts of threat almost seemingly easily? I was doing a pug 10 Baradin Hold, and the DK tank with me was pulling 30k threat and maintaining it without breaking a sweat. I was only able to keep up to 25k threat and was near impossible to raise that unless I had a few lucky crits in a streak, which, I admit, it'd stay up higher for a few good moments before slowly dropping back down once more.
I'm just wondering, is my rotation off now? I've always been doing shield slam > revenge > devastate > heroic strike (rage dump) and that's my main rotation with t-clap on the side to keep up rend (every little bit counts I suppose).
I don't usually use shockwave in my rotation, even with the 3 stacks of its buff. Am I completely oblivious to some change to warrior rotations I've missed this long?
Here's a link to my armory:

Thanks for any replies and comments.
P.S. For the inner rage ability, I usually only use that when I have a lot of adds on me and the rage can actually be used. I've tried to use it on bosses, but it always forces heroic strike off to the point that if I do use it, I'm suddenly rage starved after the next ability used right after that (8/10 times anyway).

Mmm. Hit and Expertise capped. War Academy, Deep Wounds, and Cruelty.
Yeah, you should have no issues with threat.
Are you actually having problems here, or are you looking across the isle and seeing "Hey... that guys is seemingly doing better than me!"

No, I'm not. Just, from my point of view, I'm thinking that I should be able to have the potential to reach that threat level as well. No, I'm not calling out for nerfs, buffs, etc, just along the lines that it's irritating to be doing a fight where both tanks are on it, and the other tank suddenly gets aggro over me and I have to taunt off.
Are you backing your Shield Slams with Shield Block? That can double their damage (Alot more Threat), with a talent. Whenever i tank the boss in BH, as soon as i taunt back, i pop Shield Block and Shield Slam him, and try to get Sword & Board to proc as much as i can during then. Shield Block refreshes at just the time i have to taunt him again. At 3 stacks of Thunderstruck, you should use Shockwave, it can do quite a bit of damage/threat, even single target.
Yes, I'm doing shield block before I shield slam when I can. I guess I need to make sure to throw in shockwave when the 3 stacks are up between shield slams.

That is not your problem. The other tank needs to learn when he taunts or you taunt you level your threat with his. This is not your fault.

Yes, because quoting me and editing is the way to go.

Maybe you have better avoidance? =less damage taken=less vengeance gained =less attack power= lower threat.

you didn't link the other tank's armory, so there's no way to know what the gear difference might be. obviously, gear = threat. however, more threat has very, very little value once you're not threat-capping your dps.
if a tank pulls aggro back after a tank swap, he's a bad tank. if you're just losing aggro on trash to another tank, then i wouldn't worry about it too much.

Allow me to clarify some things, and please, stay with me on this. I don't agree with it either, its actually resulted in me giving up tanking in general.
1 - As of this current time, expertise and hit rating are gravely important stats. They allow you to not be dodged or parried, and not miss. And right now, a tremendous amount of tanks are successfully downing bosses with 1 expertise and 1-2% hit. The reason is that apparently, over 80% of our abilities will still hit the mobs even with such low ratings.
In turn, for survivability, they are stacking mastery and relying on vengeance for threat.
2 - As for threat, its gear. As gear increases, threat increases.
3 - As for bad dps, bad is bad. If they do not allow you to hit the mob first, and they rip aggro, they will die. Thats really all there is too it, ignore them and move on. Misdirect still works, tricks still works, they should be using them.
If you go by this, then you should have Vigilance for the Vengeance buff, and switch around a few talents. Thunderstruck is purely pvp, and vigilance is a must.

maybe that dk had some dps pieces on. That works wonders for threat. Healers will hate you but your dps and tps will skyrocket. You can have the best tank gear in the world, but someone with a half decent dps gear, a tank specc and the bare essentials to tank (shield for warrs and pallys...nothing tankish at all for druids and dks) will outthreath you.

How can you say Expertise and Hit are gravely important, and then in the same breath say that tanks are successfully downing bosses with very little expertise and hit. That means it is NOT gravely important.
In a raid the main tank should be getting MDs or TotTs to start off, which holds the mobs long enough that they can get vengeance to stack. Once vengeance is stacked, tanks have no problems holding threat.

You don't need Vigilance. Vigilance is only a Vengeance "buff" in so far as it keeps your stacks up while you are not actively taking damage. This means you are either not the main tank (in which case you don't NEED the AP), or it's a tank swap fight (in which case you are feeding off the other tank's threat anyway and don't NEED the AP).
And Thunderstruck isn't purely PvP. It buffs rend, cleave, and thunderclap damage, in addition to the stacking the shockwave damage buff. Very helpful in heroics and several raid encounters, and even those encounters that don't have multiple mobs, you still get the increased damage to thunderclap and rend (and buffed shockwave is worth the GCD).

I'm going to respectfully disagree with this.
A) He was wanting more threat in a tank swapping fight, this is where Vigilance most shines. Also, for a fight like this that is a DPS check (albeit not a hard one), keeping Vengeance stacked will help significantly.
B) On fights needing two or more tanks, this stacks up Vengeance much quicker, and keeps it topped off better. Thus, there is more threat when you need it (early) and more dps continually throughout the fight.
C) On trash, Vigilance on another tank means that taunt is basically cooldown free.
All for only one talent point.
