Hello,
yes... this is an other "what toon to lvl next?" thread. So far I got a
hunter
main, a
dk
and a
drood
I have a low lvl warrior and mage. Got heirlooms for all I guess excpet pally healer gear. But thats no problem. I mean it wont stop me from playing a holy pally if it comes to that.
So I would like to hear your opinions pls. I dont have anything exact in mind. All I know is that I dont want to miss seeing some unique class mechanics for healing/dpsing/tanking. So what would these be exactly that hunter, dk and drood mechanics dont cover?
Rogue is similar to kitties but seems trickier to me. They share resource mechanics as far as I know, but thats not all.
Casters... as I said I have a drood, but the balance tree just does not look good. So that leaves shammies, locks, shadow priests and mages on the table.
ok, I wont go on with the whole list.... :) Now I think you see what I'm looking for. I started wow "too late" in a sense that I prbly wont have the time to lvl 10 toons to 85, so I want to make a good pick from the remaining classes. I would like to broaden my game expirience.
Ty in advance.

Personally i'd level a Warlock. Its pet system means you wont feel out of place and its a caster that isnt a boomkin.
More DoTs! Affliction Ganking is amazing, levelling a lock for myself.

I appreciate your answers, ty.
However I would like to focus on class mechanics. Warlock DoTs do a lotta dmg, ok... but they may get nerfed in the future as any other class. Im not saying you gave a wrong piece of advice. Warlock mechanics may still be unique.
Or well... does my question make sense at all? :D I mean every class is unique in a way. Or is it like if you play a warrior then you have more or less the same game experience as a dps or tank paladin?
I just dont wanna spend time on a class which is very similar to an other and miss some fun and new stuff to discover at the same time.
I am completely aware, that there is no exact answer to such a question...
