You weren't just banned. Your account was almost certainly hacked, used for gold selling and then was banned. You need to immediately both send an email to blizzard reps explaining and then get on the phone and talk to them as well. Depending on factors out of your control this could take as few as a couple hours up to a few days.
In the meantime you need to be doing a full system scan for keyloggers or any other malicious software. Also order an authenticator from the Blizzard online store.

Just to let you know, I get these emails all the time. Yes, "Blizzard" has told me thousands of times that I'm violating their terms of service by trading accounts, buying gold, and generally doing bad things. They've also told me that I've changed my information and need confirmation and such. My account has been "closed" and "suspended" hundreds of times.
And guess what? There hasn't been a single instance when I couldn't log in, despite all this. It's all spam mail, and I'm guessing that someone hacked your account and changed the password.
I have an authenticator, so these spammers and hackers can try all they want; even if they do managed to guess my password (they certainly do have my email already), they'll have to go to my house and steal my authenticator, or at least put a trojan on my triple firewalled and virus protected computer. I've had my account since the earliest onset of WoW, and it's never been hacked. Then again, I've also never given anyone my password.
However, if this is an actual case of Blizzard thinking you're buying gold... Well, ask anyone who does have access to your account and see if they've done anything like that. Check the facts first, then give them a call.

While you were at work, your account was hacked. A gold farmer used your toons to sell gold. Blizzard caught them and locked your account. This happened to me last year while I was on vacation and it was 3 days before I knew about it.
You need to call Blizzard and talk to a CSR. They will check the IP history and verify that your account was accessed by someone other than you. They will then submit a request to unlock your account, reset the password and email, remove the authenticator that the gold seller put on your account, and give you instructions on how to get your lost items back. Trust me, you lost a lot of items and gold.
The removal of the account ban can take a couple of days, the restoration of gear can take up to a couple weeks. You really need to call blizzard's CSR and get this resolved ASAP. Broken mic is no excuse. I bet if you needed to, you could call 911 right now.
Here are a couple links to help you along with your account recovery.

Also, get an authenticator, it's the silver bullet used against hackers. Currently there are no confirmed reports of an account getting hacked with an authenticator. There is one occasion where an account with an authenticator was hacked, but it was an account that the owner shared the info with a "friend" and his friend was able to email blizzard with the correct info to get the authenticator removed.

Yes, except this email is legit. I've yet to see a spam email that uses correct spelling and grammar, much less having Spanish AND English translation. I highly doubt any "hackers" would know that the United states doesn't have an official language as a country. (States are different, but the country itself doesn't have a specific language, which is why you see so many things in Spanish and English: because English is the most common language in the USA, and Spanish comes in second.)
@OP~
Do you play from Asia? I've heard of IP discrimination. If they see you're playing from Asia, and you're working a lot of money, then they might think "Goldseller!" before investigating further because of all of the stereotypes.

Keep calling and make sure to submit a ticket. If you are innocent, they can fix your account for you.
