Are Mineral/ Herb Nodes shown up to date?

I wanted to refer to the node number shown on the various mineral and herb node pages for Cataclysm but am unsure if these reflect the changes made via hotfixes since release. In other words;
are those nodes shown on wowhead an accurate reflection of what can be found in game now, or does it still show nodes that were subsequently removed?
I am thinking in particular the reduction in herb nodes for Heartblossom in Deepholm, Twilight Jasmine in Twilight Highlands and mineral nodes in the same zones.
The changes noted by Blizzard which resulted in pretty major reduction to these.
December 82010 Hotfix Notes
The tradeskill nodes were too dense in Deepholm and Twilight Highlands for Mining and Herbalism. Several have been removed.
Obsidium Ore nodes now spawn more frequently in Deepholm.source:

I know that the database was purged of pre release data when I asked back in December;

around the 04 December. But these changes cam in after that purge.
Confirmation of current status on this data would be appreciated.

We are not sure. I purged that data several times but every time all of it comes right back through user uploads, in significant numbers, which makes me think no nodes were actually removed by Blizzard.
Do any of you guys know
for sure
that one or more pins we display don't correspond to a spawn in game? If yes please list a few examples with the exact coordinates, zone, and vein name, and I will look into it more.

Thank you for you fast response Koper.
I'll go to Deepholm and try to find out.
I suspect some of the issues are that also found in other zones i.e. Phasing which means you see nodes but can't get them as they phase out when you get closer. This happens even when you have done no quests in some places, or all of them. It is widespread.
Hopefully Blizzard will sort it soon as it reduces available nodes by a decent % and exacerbates the shortage of some herbs like Heartsblossom.
Why I wanted to see as Blizzard did say they nerfed them and many reported them nerfed right down after.

Just a quick question on this whole thing about old things re-appearing in the database: Where does the wowhead client get it's info on locations for nodes, and mobs from?
is it the wowhead addon that collects it?
Or is it gathered from the WoW cache files?
Cause, if it is the cache files it is gotten from, couldn't this all just be a case of people running around with pre-nerf cache? and in some cases also pre-cata caches (in those cases where old mob locations and such appear)
