simple query, hoping for a simple answer
i rolled a BE hunter just for kicks and was wondering if i should throw her over to the newly updated starting zones since they haven't change the BC races starting zone (at least not yet) and i have rolled Bloodies before.
so, should send her over or stick it out in the old zone?

If you've experienced the belf/draen starter zones then yes I would definitely make the trek to a revamped zone. The reason I say that is because the quest rewards were revamped in the new zones and the transition to the new zones in non-revamped gear is somewhat painful...just experienced this on a new belf pally...OUCH.
@Sententia You do realize that the question applies equally to both of the BC races do you not? Duh...

My new goblin hunter did the following:
-goblin starter area till level 10ish (no choice there)
-Blood Elf starter till ghostlands completion (some was grey by the time I wrapped this up)
-Undead revised starter area... I think I am done most of the new content there. Did it all as grey quests while killing time in BG que in the 20-35 range (working honor in the brackets I enjoy).
-Also been wearing a Blood Elf tabard (and only it), done several dungeon grinds
I'm almost level 40 and am exalted with Undead, 1/3 revered with Blood Elves and just honored with everyone else (only honor with some due to the extra rep hits in the new undead chains).
New Undead area is massive rep hits compared to Blood elf.
If I had stayed in Barrens and done the new quests there (like a good goblin) I'm sure I would be much higher rep with my own people.
Advantages of BC starter:
-no phasing (if that bugs you), can skip stuff. Tranquilien cape is nice. Reasonably compact. On my server the city is nice and empty.
Disadvantages of BC starter:
-the newer phased starter areas offer more rep, possibly faster xp (early Troll area certainly seemed so on another char.) and good rewards (you see most teen goblins wearing alot of the starter area gear for many levels). My hunter wears the Undercity Cape since he got exalted so easily so unless you level slow use of Tranqulien cape is less. Also, most players have probably done the Blood elf area before.

I went to Tirisfal at 10 on my Belf Pally that I recently rolled and it was a very good decision. Tirisfal and Hillsbrad especially are great zones now. :D

I would say to stick with the Belf starter since you get a free exalted faction. Also, the Belf zone isn't so bad really.
However, I would say avoid the Draenei starter zone like the plague. Pop in near the end to pick up the tabard but otherwise run far far away.

Never. Call. Them.
Bloodies
. Ever. Again.
IDK, I found it kind of amusing...
...but yeah. Don't do it.
And shush. Azuremyst/Bloodmyst are awesome. (Well, less so the fifth time.)
