I was wondering where to spend valor points first.
Assuming that lvl359 chest and legs drop from the very first 2 bosses of bwd, maybe to prioritize geting hands from vendor with valor points.
Whats your opinion?

I had t11 legs (BH) and epic chest (Omnitron), so I went for the cloak.. Tier isn't too great tbh.

The trinket is one of the best you can get, specifically as you're losing more and more hit from gear for many of the offset (and tier) pieces.
The tier pieces will be much better once 4.0.6 hits. If you're like me and have purchased and cloak and trinket already, it's really the only thing to spend Valor Pts on. The boots are also a smallish upgrade over Hyjal boots, but the new 4p bonus will be very attractive.

Ah, I did indeed not take into account the changes to tier, my bad.

I'm saving for my first Valor Purchase and it's going to be the T11 chest. T11 gloves and legs drop from BH so I'm going to wait on my luck for those 2. Earthen Ring has an epic ring, and Hyjal rep gives you the epic boots. The VP Trinket is nice and all, but I currently have tons of hit. Plus come next patch they are introducing the Agi Alchemy Stone which has a ton of Agi, Socket, AND agi bonus. If you have the gold for a DMC: Hurricane trinket as well, that's a good chunk of agi as well. That just requires gold which is easy to make vs VP which comes in slower for me atm.

Hurricane might be underperforming, but it's sorta (easily available). If you have access to tons of VP, chances are you might have something or find something better or comparable. If you are like me and rely on Heroics and BH each week for the majority of VP, then it's going to take you a while to save up VPs.
Fluid Death
gives you 380 Agi, and a 2ndary stat that you can configure to what you want.
Hurricane
gives you 321 agility and a somewhat lackluster proc. The new
Alchemy Agi Trinket
gives you a total of 351 Agi AND Crit rating, along with the 40% potion buff.
As I said, my personal preference is to get other VP pieces vs the trinket. If I ever do manage to get the Helm or Shoulder trinket, then I can eventually get the 4P T11 bonus. It'll still take a lot of saving on my part.

Mini necro.
I'm starting to get involved in more raids lately and I've changed my stance. As the OP said, there are chest and leg drops for for beginning bosses for BWD and after doing a filter that included raid drops, there seems to be quite a few chest piece choices available. We can essentially buy only
6 items
from the VP vendor:
Lightning-Charged Legguards
Lightning-Charged Gloves
Lightning-Charged Tunic
Moccasins of Verdurous Glooms
Viewless Wings
Fluid Death
Legs and Gloves drop off BH so I'd hold those off till last. Also Legs drop off Magmaw which should be "easily" done even in pugs. Maloriak drops a mail chest piece as well as other chest pieces being available in the starter bosses. The Boots you can get the Mt Hyjal
Treads of Malorne
via rep or you could even buy the valor boots from trade as they are boe. So that just leaves the Cloak and Trinket.
I'd probably just save my VP at this point and wait till I get more raiding under my belt to see what I get via drops. Then I'd use them to replace the pieces that were just too stubborn to drop for me. Right now I'm eying both the cloak and trinket.
One last thing, I was considering the Arena PvP Gloves
Vicious Gladiator's Chain Gauntlets
as a temp placeholder till I get T11. How much would the 2 second (use to be 4 secs) reduction to traps help in terms of dps?

The Vicious Glad set is incredible not just because of the glove bonus (which is good, since it also reduces BA CD) but because of all the agility on there. With the 2 piece/4 piece Agility bonuses (which will be nerfed in 4.0.6), the Vicious set is better than anything except T11.5 set gear. All the Vicious PvP gear is strong in PvE simply because of how much better Agility is in relation to other stats and how much Agil is on the gear.
Anywho, as I mentioned above, get the trinket first and then judge what else you need based on drops with the ultimate goal of having 4p T11 bonus in 4.0.6 (if your guild is getting Cho'gall/Nefarian down consistently).

Fluid Death is really the only must-have. There are at least 1-2 other comparable epics for every other piece. Just depends on what you end up needing to complete set bonuses.
