My armory
So until recently I was running with
Blood of Isiset
and
Rainsong
.
Recently I got a hold of some other nice trinkets and I don't really know which one is better. So here comes my question: Out of all the healing trinkets available in heroics, which perform better for a holy paladin? And more specific, which ones would be better for me?
Here are the ones available in heroics:
Tear of Blood
Corrupted Egg Shell
Witching Hourglass
Gale of Shadows
Sea Star
Tendrils of Burrowing Dark

I'm aiming for two of those:
Tear of Blood
Sea Star
I liked the idea of
Corrupted Egg Shell
but I'm thinking that it should have some basic stats on it instead of solely an on use function.
Don't forget you can reforge trinkets. If you're unlucky enough to end up with a Mastery trinket, you can make do by converting half of it to Spirit or something.

I find the
Corrupted Egg Shell
kind of tricky to use in raids where it is difficult to find a target in some fights that can avoid not taking damage to let the shell last the full 30 seconds where I'd rather have a straightforward Int or Spirit trinket instead.

Tear of blood is ideal. Passive int and procced spirit is perfect for us.
Egg Shell can be good.If you put it on someone who isn't gonna take damage. If you do, it should be 8550 mana every two minutes. But finding that person can be difficult.
Other than that, the JC trinket is awesome if it's available to you, or else anything with int and/or spirit on it.

I'm currrently sporting Maloriak's jar and the Egg Shell.
I <3 the egg shell. I always just drop it on myself. Either I get a bunch of mana or I soak a little damage. No harm.
This. Unless there's an AOE mechanic that guarantees taking damage, just pop it on yourself, don't stand in the fire, and you get quite a bit of mana back. I agree, though, it's probably easier to do in 5-man's than a raid which has more guaranteed AOE damage.
Hourglass and Sea Star are the other two that look good if you don't trust yourself or your group enough for Egg Shell to be useful.

/use Corrupted Egg Shell
It's a decent macro to use when you're aiming to get the most out of it. The absorb is a little too tiny to really help healing at tank.
