as far as stat weighing goes agility is highest stat for rogues then hit cap then expertise cap then mastery, then haste then crit so your goal is 1 to always gem and enchant agility over every other stat no matter once and after you hit cap and expertise cap you reforge out of crit as much as possible for mastery.

Umm, -NO-. For one, expertise is next to useless for assassination rogues.
Assassination rogues stat weighting is as follows : Agility > Hit rating (to yellow hit cap) > Hit Rating (spell hit cap) > Mastery > Haste > Expertise > Crit > Hit rating (white hit cap, you will probably never reach this.)
Here are the EP values taken from ElitistJerks:
Agility 2.6
Yellow Hit Rating 1.75
Spell Hit Rating 1.4
Mastery Rating 1.3
Haste Rating 1.2
Expertise Rating 1.1
Crit Rating 0.9
White Hit Rating 0.75
MH DPS 3.36
OH DPS 1.04

Kodikun's mostly correct. Expertise isn't useless but it's not something we go out of our way to get, as a massive portion of our dps comes from our poison applications. With no expertise your specials will be dodged, but trying to cap it will cost you dps in the mastery loss. Unlike combat, mastery is incredibly good for assassination rogues.
You want to get around 13% spell hit, after that reforge all crit into mastery, haste, or if you need it, expertise. Mastery and haste are your primary targets when reforging. I hover around 20 expertise or so depending on if it's a raid encounter, and I think 16 for heroics. Sometimes a dodge happens and I have to re-envenom, but once you get comfortable with mutilate's priority system the occasional avoidance isn't too big of a deal as you'll see it happen/see SnD not being refreshed and be ready to take care of it.
Also: goshad's sticky, read it!
