For the sake of answering your own question, of course you should! How will you ever know if you like it more if you never try it? ;)

I would definitely try out vuhdo, it has all the customization of grid but is much easier to use straight out of the box.

Personally, I'm using a hybrid TukUI edit consisting of Eselol's unit frames and everything else of Hydra's. The healing layout of the unit frames is perfect right out of the box. I also use mouseover macros for general healing spells and custom Clique macros for dispels, buffing, and resurrection. I just finished getting my setup put together, and I must say I'm in love with it.

I pretty much use Derevka's UI for my priest. So Grid + mouseover macros.

Grid+Absorb Monitor addon for it+Mouseover Macros.
I just make my own UI, it always feels the best when using it and u get comfy with it while u make it.
binding key.. alt+left mouse and alt+right mouse.
After all this time, i seriously never came up with those combinations.
U sir, gave my Leap of Faith a better keybind.

I have 3 healing classes : priest, paladin and druid. So i pretty much tried all the healing addons that are there.I am a healer from vanilla when we used ui frames and key bindings.I really like how grid looks and what you can do with him but doesn't have key bindings so you will need an addon for that, like clique. The bad part is when you want to leave a party or clicking any unit frame you will cast spells.(my main is a priest so i have a lot of buttons to press-around 15, so left and right clicks are bind, but i am using it for my paladin which i only need 9 key binds, i am talking about mouse-keyboard binding not keyboard ones, those are separated an example would be guardian spirit which i have it on crlt+left mouse button). Healbot is great for people that just started healing, it present the information in a very good way. But has 2 flaws, sometime things tend not to work(dispels, the bars options, and so on ) and the second is that if you get a disconnect or you try to refresh the bars in combat, you are screwed, i always got only myself. So i got vuhdo which is a mix between grid and healbot. The really bad thing is that you will have to spend some time to configure it(On my first use took me 4 hours just so i can get close to healbot). But for me works the best. I like that it can make the difference between specs. Priest can take some talents that you can dispel poison on yourself. In healbot you can only configure so you see poison on all which is a bummer. So chose what you think you like and have time to set up.

I use standard Blizz raid frames.. Why would i want another add on that will pretty much play the game for me besides the click of a mouse. Healing without addons is a challenge and keeps things interesting while using your own skills instead of an addon telling u what button to push. Sorry

Quartz does not play the game for you.
Grid does not play the game for you.
Dominos does not play the game for you.
This attitude is BS. You are not "more skilled" for putting up with a poorly designed UI.
/agree...also none of the addons discussed in this thread "tell[] u what button to push. Sorry" All they really do is create and store what amounts to a mouseover macro within themselves so you don't have to use up your macro slots and allow you to keybind them in an easier way than the default keybind menu. They also change the look of the unitframes and make them positionable. This does not in any way play the game for you and suggesting it does makes you look like an idiot. Sorry.

I used healbot for about a year, as Grid's options were overwhelming, but when a guild-mate walked through the settings, I had it setup exactly like my healbot was before, as well as having additional stuff I didn't before, so I can't recommend grid enough!
I don't use decursive, instead have indicators for disease/magic and use a mouseover macro to dispel those.
Edit: I use GridClickSets to click my grid and heal, as far as I'm concerned this is the most efficient way.
