I realized that despite all my "helpful" posts around here I've never done a thread to help anyone out. So I thought I'd give it a go. I use power auras like a madman and decided to share/export specific versions of my auras for you.

In the above image you'll see I numbered 8 (but ignore number 8, it's lumped in with 7) of the auras. I'll go through and tell you what each one is as well as give an export for you to use it if you feel so inclined.

Pyromaniac
: Despite I don't use this in all my specs, I keep it around just in case. This aura pops up whenever you have the buff "Pyromaniac"

Critical Mass
: This aura shows up whenever Critical Mass IS NOT UP
on a target.

Living Bomb
: This is a very small aura but it helps a lot, this aura is visible whenever Living Bomb IS NOT UP
on a target.

Flame Orb
: (FFOrb as well) This works when Flame Orb is off cooldown, meaning you are able to cast it.

Impact
: Pretty self-explanatory, when Impact procs this aura will pop up.

Cauterize
: Same as above, when you die and cauterize procs, this will show up on your screen!

7. This actually applies to all the other un-numbered ones as well, these are for various buffs that come from trinkets, tinkers, enchants etc etc and all you have to do to get these working in your favor is add the name of the specific buff and they should pop up in the relative location.

How do you do one for Mana Gem cooldown timer? I'm just respecced to Arcane for fun, and can't seem to make one that shows me when my gem is going to come off cooldown.
I managed to make one that shows the icon when it comes off cooldown, but I prefer if I could have a timer so that I can plan ahead when it's about to come off CD.

Well if that's the case you'd have to have it show whenever it is currently ON cooldown and then select the timer options. Unfortunately with power auras there's no way to have it pop up with 5 or so seconds left on the the cooldown with a timer.
But if you don't mind having the aura up the entire time it's on cooldown just click the "invert" option on your mana gem aura and then add a timer with the timer tab itself.

oh, I did try that, but instead of a timer counting down, it counts up.
That is, instead of 2:00 counting down to 0:00, it counts up from 0:00. :)

(mod of TukUI) plus Power Auras, MSBT, Combustion helper, Control freak, Vuhdo and ark inventory.

My Ui
(TukUI) separates buffs and debuffs on the target over their frame. As you can see, you can keep track of your dot's really easily. No need for DoT trackers or combustion helpers.

^ That will get the Impact buff where it is on your screenshot. The one you have in your OP storyr is sitting on top of Cauterize. Just FYI.

Heya.
I tried to do something slightly different for Cauterize.
What I want it to do is, once I "die", to show the aura with a 60 second countdown. (basically so I know when I'm allowed to "die" again)
When I set it to trigger from Cauterize, it will obviously disappear again after 6 seconds, as the debuff is then gone.
How do i achieve this?

Try to set it as a cooldown, rather than debuff type activationSeeing as Cauterize isn't a usable spell, this doesn't work. The CD is internal.
If that won't work, there's something else that could do the trick with the options to invert effect of auras, but as I'm not playing anymore, and I don't even remember what was it's name last time I checked, can't tell more :/Yeah, i had that suggested to me. However, the way that works the aura will activate after 6 seconds (that's how long the debuff lasts), leaving me with a timer counting upwards until infinity, letting me know that at 54 seconds i can "die" again. That blows.
Another idea is to make a aura that lasts 60 seconds and starts when cauterize debuff pops up - would work exactly the same pretty much. I didn't check the notes, but I've read somewhere that this should be possible too. Good luck =pWell that does sound good. But how do you get an Aura to activate from a debuff, other than just using the Debuff option which will either let my aura diappear again once the 6 second debuff has expired OR, if inverted, does what i just described above?

Well, you might be able to treat Cauterize like
Rapture
in Power Auras Classic. Rapture is not a buff that you get or anything like that, so it might fall under similar tracking methodology in power auras.
Here is a Rapture powa import (I think this is the same one I use, but will have to check when I get home tonight):

Just change the buff name to Cauterize, and see if it works. You can always play with the settings to make it look how you want.
In looking at the import, maybe also try changing the duration to 60.

This one ALMOST works.
Actually, it does work. (don't know why it didn't work using Spell Alert before, guess I did it wrong)
But you can set the duration only to a maximum of 30 seoncds in Power Auras.
