I know that you don't have it cluttered, but most UI's that use X-Perl use it cause of ignorance and therefore they also screw things up with other crap. So it's necessarily not X-Perl that's bad, but it sure doesn't make anything better.
And yeah, keep in mind that we who criticize are insecure fellahs looking for acceptance

Or we're just picky with designs

That's a position I can be comfortable with

Wait, did Wiki just call pelf darlin', and then did pelf just mention a position he's comfortable with?

It seems like the first 500-600 posts of each thousand fly by and then it takes months to get the last half. I'd feel like 8.6k is a lot, but I've seen people with SO many posts on this forum. Much more here than many places I've visited over the years.
To make myself feel better, though, most of those people generally post a lot in OT. (Which has an inherent implication that OT is less valuable, I guess. I don't really think it is. But I'll still think about that as if it meant something to me.)

Isn't this sort of OT as well?
I'm itching everywhere, it drives me nuts

Yeah, it is OT. But ... it's OT with mah frands, rather than the world.
With fronds like these, who needs anemones?
Post by
HighFive
Wait. Doesn't that mean your fronds are worse than anemones? :(

I was more quoting the line to quote it than anything else.

Arkayn casts Silence
Post by
HighFive
Is it not ironic that the idea of complete silence is in visual media oftentimes conveyed not as utter silence but instead as cricket chirping?
Post by
TheReal
Actually I broke the silence with the chirping crickets. The message wasn't intended to convey the idea that "hey, it's silent in here," but more "hey, it's no longer silent in here."
...or something like that.
