hi all,
i m at lvl 84, and i have some problems healing dungeons. Since at lvl 84, healing spells cost around 1k more mana, i need to know how to heal more efficient so i ll not be oom all the time.
usualy i put Rejuvenation, lifebloom and wild growth on tank and i refresh when off. i use nourish and healing touch when necessary, like swiftmend.
in dungeons i go sometimes oom, usualy when tank take i big group of mobs or when dps's take aggro and i need to heal them.
so what i need to know it if i should continue with my healing "rotation" or if i need to change that.
TY for help

i was and am still going through the same thing, it only gets better with gear.
basically i found that the 3x LB right at the start of the pull works charms, throw a rejuv on him as the timer for LB starts to get towards the end to help hold off damage while you get ready to stack LB again
if the melee dps is taking damage popping a swiftmend to get the area of effect heal is a decent way to just tide them over
like Gorefiend said use Regrowth on the tank (or ill toss it on anyone lower than the tank as i tend to run with dps that like taking hits) when OoC procs.
i like to toss up a WG just to top the group off if i see that i have things under control.

>.< Keep the LB stack rolling... only drop it when it is almost through it's duration AND the tank needs a big heal.

Except that the folks asking are asking for leveling purposes, and you don't have access to mastery at all until level 80. Other than that, Yes, once you're level 80 and up, using a pair of HoTs to keep mastery active is the way to go.

Ack, so he did. My fault. I must be confusing this one with one of the many other threads asking for resto advice. Thanks for the fix, Alundrei.

It takes awhile to get use to the druid way of healing. It's not the same like it was in WoTLK. Just "RELAX" that's probably the best advice I can give you alongside with what everyone else is telling you.
*Remember not everyone needs to be topped off at the end of the fight.*

You can always try a spec without empowered touch. My reason for skipping it is to have control over and use the bloom from the lifebloom a LOT. When the tank is taking spike damage, if you have that talent and cast healing touch, sure you will get 10% extra healing from the healing touch- but if you skip that talent you can have a lifebloom actually bloom and throw a healing touch on the tank.
Better to time the HT to land just after the bloom.
Bloom + 110% HT > HT + Bloom

Bloom + 110% HT > HT + Bloom
Casting a Regrowth in the middle is also a good non-LB-refreshing time filler (and ensures that your HT still gets mastery).
Good point, I assumed a Rejuv stack though, lol.

Healing at lvl84 just sucks.
Spells already are insanely expensive but you still have crappy low level gear. Things will get better once you quest through the Twilight Highlands and get a lot of ilvl 333 quest rewards.
Even with perfect use of your healing spells you will most probably have mana issues. The sad truth is that a healer at lvl 82 can heal low lvl dungeons way better than one at lvl 84 since the throughput of spells barely increases but the mana cost does by a lot.
