Right now, im burning through mana pretty fast with only using 3 heals spells, Holy Light, Flash of Light, and Divine Light, and I also pop my Avenging Wrath to get a little extra out of it, but no matter what, by 3/4 through the fight with High Prophet Bar'im, I have no mana left and people are dieing.
1. Flash of Light is an extreme waste of mana. Don't use it unless you need to save someone.
2. We have more than 3 heals, if you're in Lost City, you should definitely have both WoG, LoD and Holy Radiance.
3. P2 is the harder phase as there's constant AoE damage. The two problems that could be happening is that you're not healing effectively, or that your DPS is letting the phase drag out too long.
If you use your AoE heals, you should be able to keep everyone up.
Also, WHO is dying? People standing in Hallowed Ground? The tank? DPS?

Through dungeons and battlegrounds.
Edit: and professions. I hear people have made it 80-85 only using archaelogy.

You are going to have to re-learn healing as a paladin.
Most important of all: you will get Holy points that you can use for healing: that is free healing that costs no mana: use this mechanism, if only to save mana.
Now in a nutshell (you can find much more info in these and other forums):
1. Holy Shock is now your base spell: use it on cooldown: its is cheap, decent heal AND it gives 1 Holy power point. Also put up Seal of Light (always) and cast Judgement on cooldown. each Judgement gives back a little mana, so it is vital you keep doing that as much as possible.
2. Between Holy Shocks, cast Holy Light to heal light damage. It is your lowest heal now, but very cheap. You should be able to cast this for an hour without going oom.
3. You can use your Holy Power points to cast a single-target heal (Word of Glory) or, assuming you specced it, to cast a light AoE heal (Light of Dawn). Both are mana-free but will use up your Holy Power points. You can get max 3 Holy power points, so at three points you might want to use them, unless everybody is at full health. They are easily regenerated, so casting a mana spell instead of using a Holy Power point spell when you have 3 Holy power points is basically wasting mana.
4. On heavy tank damage, check Holy power. With 2 or 3 Holy power points up, cast Word of Glory on the tank, else cast your "tank-heal" Divine Light. It is expensive but effective. Once the tank is up, stop using it, or you will run oom fast.
5. On heavy party damage, check Holy power. With 2 or 3 Holy power points up, cast Light of Dawn, else position yourself in the middle and cast Holy Radiance. It is expensive but effective. The closer people are, the more healing they will receive. Works great combined with "wings" and "divine favor". Have the raid/party "huddle up" for maximum effect.
6. If and only IF (and ONLY if) someone is about to die, cast Flash of Light. It is expensive and not really effective, but it is fast and can save lives. Spamming this is a guaranteed "oom" though. If all is going well, you should actually not be using this heal at all in most if the fights.
7. When the *!@# hits the fan and both tank and party need healing badly, pop your "Guardian of Ancient Kings". Your next 5 heals will basically be doubled (!), but it can only be used once per battle usually due to its 5 minute cooldown.
8. When you go oom a lot, try to find a moment in the fight where the party is not taking much damage and use Divine Plea. It is only 15% mana (glyphed) but at the end of a fight 15% mana just might be the difference between loot or wipe.
Like I said, there is much more to learn, but using these basics should be a good start into Cataclysm healadin healing.
Edit: included Judgement, vital for mana regeneration
