So I am about to go on R&R and discovered my main rig for WoW back in the states suffered cataclsymic failure (ha). Thus, I am in need of a new computer. Shopping around, I came across what looked like a decent PC; one I hopefully won't have to upgrade/replace anytime soon. Once I get back to the US for good, I plan on resuming my usual serious raiding. My question to you guys out there who are far more knowledgeable than I in all things computer: How well will this computer play WoW (questing, heroics, raiding) with normal 50-150ms latency and the usual complement of addons, e.g. DBM, Recount, BarTender, etc. Incoming Wall o' Text

IMHO you'll be fine. Only the SSD seems a little low on capacity with 30GB. Installing WoW on the SSD would give you a nice boost on loading screens.

That setup will whip the snot out of WoW. You could probably run 5 instances of WoW without a hiccup.

Hmmm, so what size SSD HD would you suggest? They are kind of pricey, but my buddy tells me it's tops for reducing load times for programs.
Thanks for the input, I can't wait to get back to USA and sate my addiction :P

If it were my machine I would dump the PhysX GPU, not needed for WOW. Then drop the GTS 450 SLI and get a single GTX 560 Ti.
I'd save some cash and go with a P55 / i5 760 setup.
Like someone else said a 30GB SSD is too small to load WoW plus a full install of Windows. If you can't afford something like a 64GB drive, just wait. HD performance isn't really a big deal in WoW. A faster SATA drive would be fine.
Sandy Bridge (socket 1155) might have been an option if it weren't for the recall. A lot of places pulled all the mobos from their site. You can take your chances, there are workarounds to the issue or wait until April if you really want a SB system.

Buy one of the New i7's
They are socket 1155, MUCH better than anything before them, they have a multiplier of 32, where as the 1366's only have 16, just saying.
And probably costs three times as much, at least. And you did catch the
recall notice
, right? You'll be waiting a while for new Sandy Bridge mobos.
No need for the OP to waste his money. What he has already will pretty much crush any game on the market now. It will completely kick the ever-loving crap out of Cataclysm, and probably the
next
two expansions.
I stopped trying to stay on the cutting edge of hardware a long time ago. You end up spending a lot more money for minimal gain, and then less than a year later you cry about how far behind the new stuff it is. Waste of money and effort.
