From my understanding the change is more for Unholy/Frost dk's to give use a better heal. We don't currently have a heal other then from when we DS.
Blood however has both VB, and Rune Tap. With the addition of DS.
Gylph being discussed. >
Charred Glyph
Now with the Pres. changing (stance is Warrior) is a horrible idea.
Imp. Blood Pres.>
With the Presence swap your will die if the boss should hit during the swap as you will no longer be crit. resistant from talents. As you lose 2% for the swap instead of having the mandatory 6%.
Another thing that I'm getting is that you don't understand what the 6% does for all tank specs. What it does is it acts like the old Def. Soft Caps did in the past patches. To were you have to be at this number for example 540 for raids in Wrath to stop bosses from having a chance to crit hit you. If you get crit. hit then you die instantly or take so much damage that the boss would kill you next hit before the healer could get you healed.
Edit:
Hmm Gylph link not present in datebase. Sooo can be found in patch notes linked below.

That's because you have to link it from the PTR version of wowhead. Well, until Tuesday hits.

Using Glyph of Darksuck would be great in offtime(during tankswitches or other moments when youre not directly getting attacked) to build up large Blood Shields and heal aoe damage. If tanking a boss, however, its not a good idea. Even those 2-3 seconds without crit immunity, armor bonus and stamina bonus will probably negate the healing, if not kill you in an unlucky streak of rng. Maybe with correct timing in combination with a slow attack speed boss... But building up humongous bloodshields will be its biggest use for tanks.

I agree with apocalypsa. It would be perfect for using just a few second before you are going to swap tanks and you were the one not being attacked. Get's you Blood Shield up for the first attack you take, when normally you wouldn't have that.

But that's not a good enough reason to fill a glyph slot with. For when you're offtanking.

You could have two different specs, one for this situation and one for another, or if your spec would remain the same just get that Dust of DIssapearance and swap your glyphs out on a fight by fight basis. I'd be doing that for my major glyphs anyway for fights where an extra 2 seconds on anti-magic or a longer silence duration is more useful and so on.

Anyone else notice that Blood Shield is not stacking? Just want to see if its just me or not. As that hurts the usefulness of the gylph.

It should be stacking? Perhaps it's a bug. Wouldn't be the first one.

Nope, update Blood Shield tracker, mine isn't just stacking it's doing so AMAZINGLY. I went into SFK H and came out having dropped below 95% a total of three times throughout the entire run, using no CC, and in a set that had not a single piece of raid gear (minus a valor-bought chestpiece, and reputation epics).

Losing all your RP isn't worth the minor difference in self heals.
It's a pvp glyph, leave it there.
Uh, what?
It's not a PvP glyph. Well it can be used as one, but it was designed for Unholy and Frost DKs so they can get better heals from DS. Since those two specs had their self-heals nerfed in Cata.

I was going to say that you shouldn't be using DS as UH or Frost in pve, but to be honest, Dark Succor is one of the few major glyphs worth taking as Frost. I haven't been doing too much pve on my DK recently, but I am Frost pve specced and I will likely pick up this glyph next chance I get. I suppose throwing in the occasional DS in place of an Oblit is better than dying.
Edit: I still feel this is primarily a pvp glyph, but it is one of the top 3 major glyphs for Frost pve.
