Ive been raiding 10 man bastion and decent as the only balance druid for my guild raids.
I am interested in finding out what everyone else is putting out DPS wise to see if I compare to other balance druids. I find myself mostly limited on DPS for the single bosses. When there are multiple targets I am much more competitive with the other DPS in my raid.
My Character information is here;

Hows your DPS in BoT and BWD? please name the boss and DPS.

Hi , did you ever think to put epic gems in all slot , gem for int+haste instead of int+crit , 54int meta , get mh + oh then staff coz they are better and i think
grim batrol
or
brc
trinkets are better then doll , enchant
s
your weapon. Then you should compare dps :D
All valid advice but it will not make or break your dps. At best it will make a difference of 100-200.
People focus way too much on gems and items that may be 0.0001% better than the one they already have and forget what is really important in a fight:
Using all your GCDs, stacking temporary buffs (including potions) properly and handling movement correctly.
Following the advice in
this
video (it's from WotLK and the stuff about key spamming is outdated now that we got the spell queuing system, the rest is still completely valid) will get you far, far, FAR better results than changing a few gems.
Gear is way overrated.

Sorry but that's just bull#$%^.
"Crap gems" as you call them give 30 stats, the "good" ones give 40. That's a difference of about 15 dps for each gem, it hardly matters.
The same goes for trinkets: Yes, having a trinket as compared to having no trinket at all will make a difference of hundreds in dps but having a slightly worse trinket than the one you could have is barely a difference at all.
All the minor stuff you listed (which is all correct - just not really important, not a priority) will not even be remotely close to making 1k or even 1.5k difference in dps. As I said, 100-200 are reasonable, maybe even 300. But that's really it, everything else is not a matter of gear but a matter of skill.
Btw if you want to talk about items that have a
major
impact on dps you shouldn't look at gems but at potions instead:
Volcanic Potion
This one will make a much bigger difference than a gem (just as explained in the video by the way).

You are missing a few things: The doll deals 4200 damage every minute when used on cooldown which is 70 dps averaged. You also seem to have "lost" the int from the trinket completely (or more precise: You calculated 1 int = 1 spellpower which is wrong).
Your changes will lose him 176 int but he will gain haste and the spellpower from gale (which takes forever to stack, you can't just count it as 340 sp). Additionally he will lose the 27 mastery and 35 crit.
One point in int will roughly give 2 dps, one spellpower a bit less, secondary stats are very roughly worth 1 dps per point in BiS gear. With his gear the numbers will be quite a bit lower because of scaling (to explain this in more detail: if you have 0% crit then 1 spellpower might give 1 dps, if you have 100% crit then the same spellpower will give 2 dps, the exact dps increase of one stat depends on how much you have of the others, since he is far from BiS gear his secondary stats will be quite low and thus he will gain far less dps from one point of spellpower than the calculator shows in BiS gear).
That means all stat changes combined will make a dps difference of roughly 500 assuming his rotation is perfect and he had BiS gear. If you take into account that he most probably knows he doesn't have a cloak and weapon enchant and just takes a cheap one there (30 int instead of 50 for the cloak for example) and account for the fact that he has low gear, meaning low scaling and correct the dps values for that then the dps difference is even smaller and pretty much matches my 300. And most importantly it's way less than the
thousands
of dps difference that you get from proper movement and cooldown stacking.
I'm really not in the mood to enter all of his gear into the WrathCalc right now but feel free to do it. If your changes will result in significantly more dps than 300 you can have a cookie :o I very much doubt it.
But here I am, talking about this stupid gear again when I really didn't want to. Nitpicking such minor unimportant crap is completely pointless.
Gear is overrated
, gear advice should be the very last advice given
after
all the other way more important issues (mostly correct gcd usage and movement) have been solved. Did I mention that gear is overrated?

ok so after we just posted walls of text with no reason what are we exactly doing here ? ^^
I think we are pretty much done here anyway. All gear improvements have been posted and the rotation video has been linked. There isn't really anything else to say to the OP I think.
But about starting with gear: I don't think it's a reasonable starting point. The problem is that improving gear costs tons of gold. If someone is intentionally going with +30 gems instead of the +40 ones to save some money I really wouldn't mind about that. Taking the second best enchant over the one that costs thousands of gold is also totally fine in my opinion.
Of course there should be some gem in every socket and some enchant in every slot that can take one - but it doesn't necessarily have to be the best and most expensive one. Most of his gear issues seem to arise from saving money which is not a fault but a very rational decision. I'd never even think about putting a 300g gem or an expensive enchant on a blue item that will be replaced in a week or two of raiding anyway.

Thanks for the information,
The reasoning behind me having that meta gem and missing enchants is mostly because I would rather find a better item before investing heavily into them.
I don't believe my dps is that bad and I have watched a lot of videos and read guides to do what I can.
Soon ill be posting my dps output on the 10 man bosses, I am just curious on how I am comparing to other balance druids. I raid with a affliction warlock and rogue and Keeping up with them is difficult, and some bosses... I can not.
I will be reading over your suggestions more in detail and again, I do appreciate the assistance.

I read over the information (helped a lot) and redid my gems and enchants. Also to note the patch just hit today. I went into BWD 10 man and I noticed a good amount of improvement in DPS.
I am using recount and this is the current fight data once the Boss was defeated.
omnotron 19.1k dps
magmaw 18.7k dps
maloriak 18.3k dps
atramedes 13.4k dps
chimaeron 16.1k dps
You guys laid out a lot of information so I will be continuing to read for improvements. As already stated I appreciate the help and have already noticed a great deal of improvement.
On a side note, I have purchased the arena 1hd mace and offhand. Would those be better then using my current 346 staff?
