my main question is HOW is this a ret talent? thats a tanking skill imo it should be in the prot tree, or an all pally type of skill
EDIT: when you curse over it, it still shows up as rebuke but follow the link it shows the actual spell

Yes it reeks of a tanking skill, but Blizz did it because Ret had become a bit too squishy (I know it sound funny/fishy)
As I was leveling from 80 to 85 as Ret, I found myself suddenly dying, not realizing and not thinking I was so low health. I had to change the way played and that if I pull 3 or more mobs that I have to change my seal to
, and if there were 4 or more mobs, everytime I had 3HP to use WoG

It's our new talent in the talent tree that replaces Rebuke, now that Rebuke is a trainable skill for all paladins

yaa i get that, but imo make it an all pally kill. just too bad, it would be sick for tanking

Between WoG, Hammer of Justice, Repentance, FoL, Bubble, and Lay on Hands, Retribution can do a lot to live while leveling. Sure Sacred Shield will help, but I definitely don't think that it was a major problem before. I never swapped to Seal of Insight once during 80 to 85.
This is really a great talent for Ret overall. PvE you'll find a lot of times during raid-wide AEs that getting this effect is just goshdamn perfect. Al'Akir phase 2 comes to mind, along with about 10 different encounters where some certain mechanic knocks you under 30% health. A lot of classes had actually pulled ahead in terms of sustained self healing abilities which is just plain weird, so I think this was needed, especially with Ret being a bit more careful with their Holy Power usage.
