Farming Battered Hilt for Quel'Delar solo at 85

Hi guys, I would like to know which is the best way to farm the Battered Hilt solo at level 85(I have a Paladin with prot and dps specs).
I've that clearing trash mobs in heroic HoR and wiping on the first boss to make adds spawn again is the best way, anyone can confirm this ?

Damn those mobs take time to kill !
130k hp per mob in FoS and many packs of 4, so I can't go there with ret spec.
In PoS there's a lot more of single mobs (the sorcerers with skeletons for intance) so it is doable in ret spec, and maybe faster, I don' know.

Even in Wrath, PoS has always been to go-to for farming.

FoS is where i got all 5 of my battered hilts, i sat around last night after reading this post and figured hell why not go see if its doable.....fire mage ilvl 359 and 3 clears later i got 1 to drop. As for the vrykul on the dragon best thing i did was attack the moment spinning sword hit me i blinked away then punked him from behind lol for ret spec the moment the spinning sword comes out repentence and be ready to hammer again the moment it comes up and just treat him like you would a lock in arena's stunn locked and your good to go.
