A couple days ago on my only character, my mage. I queued for a heroic. Around two seconds later I get a dungeon pop up. Lucky me! Sadly, no. The tank left the heroic queue around 25 times before I got in. I told the people in my heroic what had happened and they said it was probably the same guy who "Crashed the instance servers" They told me if a tank queues and leaves around 20 times in a row it will bug up and make everything go wacky. Id like some more information on this, thanks.

If a tank joined and left he'd get the dungeon finder debuff of I think 15 minutes before he can used LFD again.
25 x 15 minutes = 6 hours and 15 minutes.
Don't think that would cause any issues with the servers. Not unless 100,000 people were doing the same thing at the same time.

You don't get deserter debuff if you never accept the queue invite. I've seen similar behaviour from immature tanks; declining then immediately queueing again so the poor healer and dps are constantly clicking on the pop-up, hoping that this time it won't be the same idiot again.

While I would not be surprised about a non obvious bug triggering from this, I find crashing the instances unlikely. For one, I would expect symptoms like what happened after Wrath dungeons upped their rewards, failure to zone in.

There is a reason for it - instance in progress. I have sometimes queued as tank and had it pop about 5 or 6 times in a row with instances in progress. I usually decline because its often the case that the previous tank has left due to the party being made of assclowns and retards.
I'd actually put fair odds that the tank was booted for being the same. I consider either to be pretty much equally probable. For every group I run on my tank that makes me want to dive out a window there's a run on my healer with a tank who makes me want to smash my face through my monitor.

This. I tend to always go into said groups because it, from my personal experience, usually means that their's a group of competent people who kicked someone who was holding them back. This means I get a good group and a run that's twice as short.

There was some trouble with the Dungeon Finder, which has been fixed, according to the Customer Support Forum.

@ OP: What you were told is pure BS. Players can't break the RDF.
The RDF is a tool which brings together many players among different realms on a battlegroup. The queue times largely reflect the amount of players at your level queued for the content of your level. Queue times can be skewed due to lots of tanks being queued, and not many healers etc. If, for example a tank rejects the instance, they are spat out of the RDF and the tool looks for the next available tank in the queue. In your case, it looks like you had quite a few tanks reject the readycheck.
There could be many plausible reasons why players reject the RDF. After waiting such a long time (or in anticipation of a long wait), they may have gone to get their gear enchanted, or come across a rare spawn. They may have had to go AFK for a toilet break or to feed their baby.
While I only queue if I am free and have the time to dedicate to the dungeon, some unexpecting things in-game and IRL do pop up.
Rather than complain about certain group roles always dropping queue, players should be glad that we have such a tool which makes things so much easier for us.
Gone are the days where you would advertise for a dungeon group in trade chat or zones at your level for a few hours. Then running to the stone to summon. If a party member had to leave, you would need to hearth back to a city and advertise again.
