Beacon of Light no longer triggers from Light of Dawn.
Arg! How can this be a good thing?
It's always been a good way of getting extra healing on the tank when everyone is taking damage, why would they nerf us again?

Also, the way I see it, it's an attempt to limit HPals from raid healing and tank healing at the same time. Pallies are still decent healers. Unless you were 25man raiding, LoD wasn't THAT good from what I've heard.

Heard a lot of people saying that Blizz should undo the LoD healing nerf to make it more useful again.
IIRC it was a 40% healing done nerf?
I personally find LoD really helpful and all i've been doing are 5-mans so far. Haven't stepped into raids yet.
If LoD stays bad will you not talent into it anymore? What would you take instead?

It's useful enough to talent into, even in my 10 man. Chimaeron, BH (when I bother to pug it), Maloriak red phase... it's not great but I can find a couple uses for it. And the highest thing on my list that I don't have right now is Denounce and we have good DPS.

In 10m raids LoD suffers a lot from positioning. Raids usually don't play nicely with where they stand, so you really have to abuse those times where you hear "stack" on vent.
I'm surely going to keep the talent seeing how I'd still get about 36000 healing, minimum, during those stacking times. Before it was about 49000. One go at Holy Radiance will still beat it out, I'm sure. 14 x 1500 x 10 = 210000 if you're stacked for the whole time.
People tend to hear about a nerf and immediately look for alternatives. :\

The hotfix note correctly describes what the attempt to fix a bug ended up changing, which was not actually the original intent. We're reverting the hotfix until we can fix the bug without causing Light of Dawn to no longer trigger Beacon.
Looks to me like it was an accident and is being fixed. Can't log right now to double check. He posted this at about 10:45 PM Central time.(8:45 Blizz time)

LoD not healing through bacon is a bug triggered by a hotfix, hotfix was reverted to not trigger the bug.
